August 17, 201114 yr Member LMAO at the Pop Up message! For those who dont know, just weeks earlier, Virginia broke into a fertility clinic, stole Tyus' sperm and used a turkey baster to stick up Vanessa's va-jay-jay and impregnate her. She then gives her a turkey baster to use on Thanksgiving but they gave us this disclamier so we wouldnt be grossed out...LOL Edited August 17, 201114 yr by Cheap21
August 17, 201114 yr Member Didn't Marlane try to kill Alice with her donuts or something? LOL. Yeah she stuffed all of her donuts down her throat, choking her. No words to describe it other than...wow. Edited August 17, 201114 yr by Shawn

Now this was bizarre! the cursed jewels! <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/b478BL3X7BI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It was one of my favorites at the time it aired. It was must see tv for me no SuBe
August 17, 201114 yr Member This one has to win for sheer WTF?-ery. It's a scene from Guiding Light in 2009 (I think -- maybe '08) between Olivia and Ashlee. I literally have no idea why it's in the episode or how it made it to air. Crystal Chappell either forgets her line or there is no point whatsoever to the entire scene, and then the two actors just wander out of frame as if someone is standing offscreen, motioning, "Just come over here!" It's seriously one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen aired on television. The scene plays from 0:50-1:08 in the video below. Edited August 17, 201114 yr by Michael
August 17, 201114 yr Member Oh god, I almost forgot just how awful GL was in its final years. I would say Wheeler's vision as one long bizarre entry for this thread
August 17, 201114 yr Member At 0:58...WTF is that? Or even better, Marlena is chased out of the Horton house by Tom's head. Can someone give me a link to re-watch the SSK storyline. I loved it, lol. BUT I'm drawing a blank...Why was Marlena "killing" people?
August 17, 201114 yr Member Can someone give me a link to re-watch the SSK storyline. I loved it, lol. BUT I'm drawing a blank...Why was Marlena "killing" people? Ratings...lol. The SSK didnt really interest me till she was revealed as the killer and then became must see tv. Deidre was amazing and I thought it was a big cop out to not leave her the killer. Say Marlena genuinely snapped and had gone insane. As for your actual question, I dont rememebr, I know she was being brainwashed into thinking she did it by Tony, or I guess its Andrew now. Maybe some Dimera revenge?
August 17, 201114 yr Member Tony/André wanted to "destroy true love" because John had stolen Kristen from him, and also he wanted to prove to Stefano('s skeleton, since he thought Stefano was dead) that he could be just as evil as him, so he brainwashed Marlena to wander around Salem, killing her family and friends... only instead of actually killing them -- as we later saw in flashbacks -- she only thought she was killing them, but instead André was standing behind her, shooting tranquilizer darts at them so he could swap out their bodies with perfect doppelgangers, who were then pronounced dead while the real people were transported to an island replica of Salem. Obviously going to all that expense makes a lot of sense rather than just shooting the people you want dead. Edited August 17, 201114 yr by Michael

I didn't stick around long enough to see the resolution of the story (the Olympics did me in), but damn...damn. That storyline really was the most ridiculous thing in the history of daytime.
