August 9, 201114 yr Member I thought the original Irene was played by Kate McKeown? I'm asking if this is the actress that was in today's episode
August 9, 201114 yr Author Member I'm asking if this is the actress that was in today's episode Oh, that I don't know for sure.... I thought you were trying to figure out who was the first person to play the role.
August 9, 201114 yr Member Weird that Irene doesn't even call RHTodd her son, just the fugitive..and she refers to Todd Manning as..Todd Manning...I'm even more confused than ever truth be told.
August 9, 201114 yr Member Soap, I think that's where I recognized her name from. Some more pics: http://www.aveleyman.com/ActorCredit.aspx?ActorID=14556
August 9, 201114 yr Member EDIT: Was this her? I'm already forgetting what she looked like http://www.broadway....barbara-rhoades Yes that is her. Soap, I think that's where I recognized her name from. Some more pics: http://www.aveleyman...x?ActorID=14556 I think I just remember her from her various guest spots on primetime TV.
August 9, 201114 yr Member At least they got a veteran actress to play her And she's got ties to the soap genre
August 9, 201114 yr Member Well bringing her back is a tad absurd but its kind of an interesting twist to the story.
August 9, 201114 yr Member Well bringing her back is a tad absurd but its kind of an interesting twist to the story. RC does whatever [!@#$%^&*] he wants to do. Bringing back a 30 years ago dead character is a piece of cake for him. This is why soaps are laughed at and not taken seriously anymore. Edited August 9, 201114 yr by Soapsuds
August 9, 201114 yr Administrator Woah!!!! Irene Manning??? That's a pretty cool twist. I guess they had to bring her back if they're going to the twin route. Man, this Two Todds storyline continues to kick ass. RC does whatever [!@#$%^&*] he wants to do. Bringing back a 30 years ago dead character is a piece of cake for him. This is why soaps are laughed at and not taken seriously anymore. Anymore? When were they ever "taken seriously"? Maybe up until the 70's?
August 9, 201114 yr Member 8 years of history? 30 years of history? It's all the same. At least this will give Tina something to deal with. Edited August 9, 201114 yr by Antoyne
August 9, 201114 yr Member Anymore? When were they ever "taken seriously"? Maybe up until the 70's? Exactly. Its not like they would be taken seriously even if they weren't doing stuff like this.
