August 5, 201114 yr Member I wonder if David just had it, cause he's someone from PV? Did he know Mike Roy? That could be a factor too
August 5, 201114 yr Member Didn't he also mention Maria? She's also came back from the dead so I don't think the Mike Roy mention is out of place.

August 5, 201114 yr Member I wonder if David just had it, cause he's someone from PV? Did he know Mike Roy? That could be a factor too Maybe in passing but not personally. Mike was on the show from April-Sept 1998. David left in March and came back in July. Mike was mainly involved with Jack and Erica and David was involved with Ryan and Gillian
August 6, 201114 yr Member I forgot David was around so early--was he created by Broderick? I remember the whole Allie story but
August 6, 201114 yr Member @Eric - There was no second death for Mike Roy. As you know, that resurrection was part of McTavish disastrous 1998 return to AMC. She clearly didn't get the significance of Mike on Erica's life and wrote the whole thing for "laughs." They were nothing like the intense couple of 15 years prior. As I recall it, Erica soon seemed as put off as the viewers, and Mike simply left town. That aside, I replayed that obituary scene several times on DVR - and I can't really tell what Ryan mumbled right there. For all I know, he could have said "my groin!" SOme on here actually said they liked Mike more the second time around--I remember at the time no one did (but I didn't know Mike first time back then at all). I guess they COULD say that Miek was David's first resurection case? it's a stretch but by soap standards not so much... As for Maria hasn't it been made pretty clear she was one of the first test cases? We've known for a long time that David masterminded her recovery.

August 6, 201114 yr Member David's Oprheus project thingy couldn't have been a part of Mike's resurrection, due to the fact that Mike's death was staged. According to the McTavish rewrite, as I can recall, Mike's services were recruited by some government agency and he was used as a spy. That's how Adrian Sword was introduced. He and Mike were part of the same government agency. Mike and Adrian were sent to uncover Palmer's collection of stolen WWII Nazi art that was supposed to have been seized by the government. Hence the whole secret room fiasco. So, Mike was never dead and hasn't died yet. After the case was solved, Mike was sent on another mission and had to leave town... and Erica and Jack broke up because of her methods of saying "Goodbye." As for Maria hasn't it been made pretty clear she was one of the first test cases? We've known for a long time that David masterminded her recovery. Maria is, indeed, the first test case. X-17
