Man, Steffy and Taylor are really milking this "life-changing moment" of a tipsy Stef smacking her head on the bathtub.

Taylor needs to stop telling Ridge that he can continue to use her as a second-choice substitute. I honestly think that despite all her Hear Me Roar bluster, the message Tay Tay has passed on to Steffy is that it is ok to go for men who are already in love with somebody else.

My apologies for sounding purtanical to some, but I thought it was absolutely disgusting how Steffy basically told Liam he should be with her because of Hope's opposition to pre-marital sex. (By the way, I do not believe that all people who engage in pre-marital sex are sinners.)

What is strange is that Steffy is a character that the writers want us to root for.

I don't think you are puritanical sounding. I don't believe that pre-marital sex is some kind of major sin, either. Hope is young and wants to wait, for her own reasons. Liam said he would respect that and he still wants to be with her. That's a decision between the two of them and nobody else's business. Steffy saying he should be with her because she is willing to put out is wrong, not because Steffy is offering sex but because she is trying to get in between a couple who are solid. And for reasons that are underhanded -- to hurt both Bill and Hope.

I do like the way Steffy is written, though, and the way JMW plays her. Neither she nor Bill Bell currently shy away from showing Steffy's flaws. She is arrogant, bitchy, a menace, self-righteous and judgmental, but I felt sorry for her at the way she was played by Bill and the way she opened her heart to him. I still think she and Bill love each other, but she is out for revenge and that makes for a more interesting story.

Bill loves Steffy and yet he dumps her and then comes after her company. Talk about adding insult to injury!

Steffy's the most interesting character as far as Im concerned.

She's driving the show right now. Pretty much everyone is reacting to her. I want her to hand Bill his ass when it comes to the FC/JackieM story. They need to put Steffy in more of a business role at FC, imo.

IA. I really dont need to see her as a love sick puppy chasing after another taken man. What happened to the Forrester shares impendig war from a few weeks ago? That sure got dropped fast.

I don't think it's dropped, I think it's just simmering. I imagine things will explode during sweeps.

Has Hope ever mentioned Little D? It seems like she'd want to meet him since Amber is in town.

The show has ignored him for the simple fact that he creats a continuity issue. He should be older than Hope, but he was last seen as a 10 yr old on Y&R. Unless they do a OLTL and bring him on as a younger brother, there's no getting around that he has to at least be in his early 20s and Rick and Amber cant pull ff being the parents of a kid that old

I see. I had forgotten that he was supposed to be older. I kind of wish they'd bring him on as a younger brother. Then again we have a lot of character right now, so it can wait. Maybe next summer he can show up as a teen.

Oh, I think the Forrester shares thing is over. NO ONE is going tell Taylor she's wrong or being a vindicitve bitch. Or fight her to get them back.

There is absolutly no way in hell the fight for Forrester is over. Brad my be repetitive at times, but he's not an idiot.

  • Member

It'll probably be why

Rick returns

. I dont think he will appreciate the Taylor kids having such a huge chunk of the company and all he will get is a small portion of 12.5%

He's NOT? What happened to the Whip vs. Ridge plot? Or Bridget has Owen's baby? When is anyone going to find out Steffy blackmailed Dollar Bill to get Forrester back? Will Amber ever find out Bill was premeditating her murder?

Bell is an idiot. Thomas' shares will be a moot point until/unless it becomes the crux of another round of Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle. And God help us all if that happens.
