GH: Discussion for the Month of August

Exactly.

I think the thing to remember is that Garin Wolf said he wanted to bring balance to the canvas. Not that Sonny and Jason would leave town, or that Carly would open a boarding house and become the show's new moral compass. His prime objective is to feature more characters in more kinds of stories. That's it.

What I'm really digging, though, is that characters on GH seem to be having more conversations than before. Not that I agree with all the viewpoints featured; the hero worshipping is still there, for the most part. But at least Wolf knows that what draws in people more than just comic book-like violence is understanding where each character is coming from.

Is the show done with Jax? Are they leaving his story open ended?

Was Bobbie ever head nurse? I know it was Audrey for years. Did it get passed down to Bobbie after her or did it go straight to Epiphany

My goodness Spinelli is still Jacki PI? Didnt he have a breakthrough with Maxie? I thought this crap was over

Correct. The last time Bobbie was seen working, she wasn't in scrubs, which means implies she's in an administrative position.

You're right about Bobbie. But I have to wonder, are we supposed to assume Audrey retired? I mean I know she's 105 and babysits 24/7, but they never officially said she retired as a nurse, did they? I may be forgetting.

One comment, Johnny/Abby - Um no. PLEASE no, Garin. I do not want my favorite character stuck with that mess They were totally chem testing them yesterday and I wasn't feeling it. A Johnny/Abby/Bambi triangle would be AWFUL. Just NO, Garin. I would rather see Johnny back with Olivia!

Dax had it's day. The breakup was completely underwhelming and useless IMO, UNLESS they are going to finally do something with DIane and/or get rid of the Mob buffoons.

As for Spin, I'm finally starting to see the point. He's retreated because he's lost too much. I can get behind that take on Jackal PI.
