I thought today's ep, JR/Mariss/Bianca aside was the dullest of the week (though I loved Opal's cooking), but that said I still enjoyed it. I think the *pace* of the show this week has been near pitch perfect--stories aren't drawn out (even Janerica which I'm getting over still has progress), yet we still are getting character/dialogue scenes. Watching AMC and then watching OLTL afterwards is like getting whiplash or watching a Bergman film and then following it with an Uwe Boll movie...

I still cannot picture them making it to the end of the show, but I could be wrong. This would be a good one to flesh out online.

Ayyyyyeee dunno, I would compare their *happy ending* to Felicia and the Russian boy on Another World. *Nice*, but not gut satisfying (for me). I still think there is someone better out there for Bianca and I wonder how they plan(ned) on ending it with these two and if anything has now changed.

This Davidvention is stupid lol I don't get why Kendall was even comparing that to Erica's previous intervention -_- seriously??

It's clear Griffin doesn't know how to date let alone open himself up to a woman he's interested in haha those scenes with Kendall at the park were a little awkward! But I still love them. It's to bad Kendall keeps mentioning Zach.

Jacob Young was fantastic in this episode as I expected him to be, except for that last pivotal scene where JR took the drink....um ph34r.gif Just the way he was acting didn't seem right to me. It was to much IMO he should've acted that scene out more softly.

Frankie sighting!

Poor Cornelius Smith Jr. having to act out these same, tired old little scraps at PVH every now and then. Just sad.

AMC's been canceled so I've filed this under "water under the bridge" but, honestly, I will never forgive this show for the way they wasted Cornelius and Shannon Kane. It's inexcusable.

It's not sad.

But that's another conversation entirely.

Rather than an "evil" plan, I think the Orpheus Project is a scientific (although ethically challenged) research project involving the use of stem cells to regenerate people's own cells thereby bringing them back from hell, which David's used to save several people (Maria, Greenlee, Dixie). He's probably planning to eventually have his work published and gain worldwide fame for the breakthroughs he's made over the years.

+1 --- Totally agree, Steve.

The only thing I'm a little curious about now is Griffin and whether he knows specifically all the people Project Orpheus is helping. If he knows Zach is recovering out there, then it's a little crazy and creepy and wrong that he is falling for Kendall and allowing her to believe Zach is still dead.

Regarding today's show, I love that they had Greenlee somewhat remember the Orpheus logo. They are tying history in here with David helping her, and most likely Maria from back in the past. He's had this project going on for awhile now.

Maybe Im a skeptical fan, but I dont think Griffin is privvy to all the details and knows 100% about everything David is doing with the project.

Have to disagree on the last scene w/ Jacob Young. It's a montage scene and that's the 3rd time in that same day JR had the drinking temptation waved in his face. If he plays it soft, it looks like he easily gave in, the fighting off the drink in the final scene told us he didn't want to do it but had to.

IDK why JR takes everything he does or doesn't do for AJ to heart, but he does, AJ is his top priority and when he messes up w/ AJ, JR immediately thinks he's the worst person in that boy's life. While SheBeast can say now she's "gay" made empty promises to AJ about the family and can "move on", JR thinks AJ is gonna hate him for taking away his Carey mother #2 dream. So rather than tell AJ, he rather drink to forget it.

It's funny how Griffin was yapping about Kendall being all complex and "layered" and all I could think was how dull Kendall is. She has been completely defanged since the 90s.

That clip of Bianca being pushed off the balcony by JR falling off that mile-long balcony of her own clumsy volition reminds me of when AMC had the budget to show a body double falling in slo-mo, a balcony breaking and multiple camera angles of Bianca landing in the hedgerow.

JR wooooing and fist-pumping when Marissa admitted she slept with him because she was scared of her feelings for Bianca = For a minute, it was like JR was visualizing Minks doing it -- and enjoying that visual.

Vincent/Susan are FIAH.

It's like Rev Ricky all over again, if that's the case.

LB could have given Marissa a background in the ladies but chose not to.

Straight women do fall for lesbians but in the end it doesn't workout.

I've heard of at least a few cases in real life where it has worked out so I don't have trouble believing that it could turn out okay but it still would have been better if it turned out Marissa had a past with women because this current story is too much of a retread of other past stories.

I still like Kendall but she doesn't have the fire she used to.
