I don't think people should be taken to task for not being all "rah rah this is the best thing evah" people are skeptical for a reason

Skepticism is great (and IMO long overdue) but what we're seeing now is more hysteria than skepticism and that hysteria is being fed and exploited by the soap press.

If people want to be skeptical or critical then turn a little of that away from "Agnes Nixon is senile" and start pushing back on some of these reports. Like I said, I generally respect Michael Logan but that last article of his was poor quality and added nothing to the conversation except hysteria.

Hysteria? Really? This conceited-without-a-damn-reason judgment on people's reactions and opinions is becoming quite tedious.

I think the online revival is potentially a very good thing, but I have to wait and see how that develops. I have high hopes. That being said, hysteria is a two-sided coin here to say the least.

The other day I was reading all of us in this thread, speculating about the AMC/OLTL web shows and then I went on Twitter and saw that Kristen Alderson (who is affected by this 100 more times then we are of course) made a tweet along the lines of "So excited for Quiznos at airport!!" I had to lol.

I just don't know where skepticism becomes automatic failure and the disastrous disasters of a senile woman.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that if anyone claims nothing will change including the cast, they're either lying or greatly misinformed.

Yeah, the people going after Agnes about it are way too much. Not that I ever in a million years thinks she goes online to read the rantings and ravings of hysterical message board posters, but I would hate for her to see some of the nastiness that has been said about her here and on other boards.

I just keep picturing Agnes sipping sherry and reading all these messages on her computer and with a beatific Aggie-like smile she says "It's okay dear. The haters can suck my dick." Then she closes her laptop like she's shutting the AMC photo album.
