Oh SNAP. She's got balls. Good for her.

It's easy to have balls when your parents are still feeding you. But by all means, let the girl get it off her chest.

so who did JR shoot???

This just made me think that it is strange that Erica Kane is done with but the other JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen are coming back. (well for ten shows at least)

Should we create a new thread called "AMC and OLTL Canceled! Part 2!" ???

Yes. The title of this one isn't true anymore.

I think she just RT'd what SID said and added "is this for real?!". She was one of the ones who "signed" so I can understand her wondering sad.png

kelley missal

Just saw the news that #OLTL won't be moving on to the Internet after all. sad.png so sad but at least they gave it the chance it deserved!!

Chrishell Stause

@Jason_Spitzer: Now that they're officially gone, too bad #AMC ended the way it did. 2 hour movie anyone?” YES!! smile.png

An AMC movie would be so cool. Or at least the writers can release what they maybe had planned. I want to know who JR shot ;-P

Though I'm sad for everyone involved, including the fans, none of this surprises me. I was one of those who was skeptical from the start that this would get off the ground and be able to make money. I really think PP bit off more than it could chew from the get-go, especially with wanting to keep the same 5-days-per-week schedule as the ABC version. It also doesn't help that the union involved hasn't quite got a handle on Internet shows just yet. Perhaps if PP can regroup and streamline the shows (start out 1 day a week perhaps with only enough cast for a 30-minute show), then they might be able to do something.

Red flags should have come up once PP announced(or it was rumored) that a network channel was picking them up...cough...Bravo....

She didn't say that. She was quoting SID's tweet. "Is this for real?" was her question before she realized it was. She didn't know until 16 minutes ago.

I wouldn't call it brave for just saying something that seems like common sense to me. I just call it like I see it.

I guess I haven't heard any criticism of the unions other than some general stmt made by Deadline. Union or not Prospect Park does not have the funds at least not at this point. Maybe this forces them into looking at some other ways to bring these shows online. These shows were not profitable enough for the network in their current states so why would anyone invest in something that on the surface might seem like a losing proposition.
