I'm torn on this. I warmed to Luner as well and I think she's fantastic with MEK and she has a certain spark with DW too, but ... to call her Liza just seems wrong due to the age of Liza's peers. Williams and Morgan look great for their age, but Luner still looks 10+ years younger.

I do get that. I guess I think Liza still has a place on the canvas (and it would be great if Marian somehow could at least make appearances, though it might be hard without Stuart), and would rather just go with it at this point than take another Liza recast. But obviously none of this has any real bearing one way or another so far.

Jamie Lunar is one I am shock stayed because she has had success outside of soaps. Didn't she have her own Primetime series on NBC

I have mad love for Luner so if they can get her to sign I'm happy but if they can't I LOVE your suggestion of Beth Chamberlain. I think she would be wonderful.

I know she's done at least 3 or 4 Lifetime movies and a slew of PT guest appearences and I am trying to remember the NBC show. She took over as the lead for one season and it was tied to Michael Weiss's show.

HOnestly I would not be shocked to see her not stay. I think she only came to AMC because of Pratt but if they are tryng to sell this show to a cable channel she is recognizable probably moreso than a lot of the cast because she's done things like Melrose Place and several Lifetime movies.

Feeling a lot more confident that the show is going to be fine with Darnell Williams signing! I was worried for a long time there hat there were no more after the first two.
