Members AllMyDaysatGH
Daytime Confidential Jamey Giddens from Daytime Confidential says he's hearing that AMC's last episode will be two hours!
Members All My Shadows
OMG THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE! They give TWO HOURS to the show that's killed the ENTIRE lineup, and in the process they'll have to PRE-EMPT the last BRAZEN, TOPICAL soap on the air! Because of this, OLTL will lose one more precious hour before its impending finale, thus wasting any time that could have been used to bring back old favorites! ABC should be ashamed of themselves, but we should NOT be surprised! The obnoxious mess that has been AMC has gotten preferential treatment since the beginning of time, while the earnest, sensible OLTL, which has only ever tried to change our mindset and be a beneficial part of our culture, has always been thrown to the side. This is just a continuation of that SAME UNFAIR TREATMENT.
Members AllMyDaysatGH
LOL, AMS. I would love a two-hour AMC finale!! I want as much time in Pine Valley as I can get. AMC deserves this because they have such little time to wrap up to begin with. So hoping this is true...
Members Jonathan
AMS, you're kidding, right? I would rather it not get a finale at all! Keep it going! I'm hearing Kendall is getting 30 seconds of that 2 hour finale.
Members NYC123
IF this was happening this HAS to be a PR move by ABC. Though nothing they do will help them. But I am ALL IN for a 2 hour finale!
Members Jonathan
Is anyone concerned that Julia Barr and David Canary aren't on this press release? http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/06/30/abc-announces-september-23-as-date-for-final-episode-of-all-my-children/97001/?utm_campaign=WP%3ETwitter&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter

Members AllMyDaysatGH
That would be a travesty... There's also a tidbit that says "..among others yet to be announced", so hopefully that's them (plus some others)!

Members Soapsuds
I know you are joking but AMC doesn't deserve a 2 hour finale..please...
Members NYC123
Why not?
Members SFK
For all of its faults, AMC has always been pretty darn good at delivering when it comes to the sentimental stuff like big anniversaries and funerals. And they often leave a lot of us wanting more as the hour flies by. If they handle their time accordingly, I think a very balanced/well-rounded 2 hr. finale could be wonderful, especially considering that they will almost certainly work in flashbacks which suck up time. I would also be kind of to see AMC make daytime history with a 2 hr. episode even if upon its own finale.
Members NYC123
Also with a 2 hour finale this will give more screen time to those characters we care and love.
Members Jonathan
This is so much better than devoting the entire lineup to a Brenda Barrett marathon.
