I think the show was suppose to be a bit of sex comedy. It's a quasi-complete episode of Loving Friends and Perfect Couples. As you can see from the closing credits, there are some scenes which were edited out in the rest - whether the original owner of the episode was cutting things out for sexual content or some other reason, I'm not sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ih8aZ9QfHw This is so typical of the 'intellectual' soft porn genre, even with the edits...fascinating to watch. Paul Hecht was a hot dad. Weird show don't know what to make of it. It's a step up from Cinemax's softcore shows. But not by much.
