I have a lot of soapy elements in my family, but just a brief highlight was the fistfight that broke out at a family funeral, just feet away from the casket. The two relatives who had not seen each other in 20 years still didn't get over their grudge. It was amazing.

I wouldn't even know where to begin with my people. I can't even. My mother's side is where ALLLLLLLLL of the fun is. One of my aunt's stabbed her brother in the back with a fork, and scraped it from the top to the bottom. Another aunt had three kids with her aunt's husband. The aunt who was cheated on? One of her sons stabbed his wife to death a few years ago. That wife's sister had a child for one of my cousins, and that wife's brother is currently screwing another one of my cousins. That cousin's ex-boyfriend is the brother of the girl that my brother knocked up a few years ago. Oh, and that cousin? She's the daughter of the aunt who stabbed her brother in the back with a fork.

Yall ain't ready.

Boo, that's not Nawlins. Not by a long shot. Nawlins has its own drama, but come on down about sixty more miles south, and sh!t just gets crazy.

Let's talk about my dumb 22-year-old cousin who tried to perform a drive-by down my street five years ago and almost shot me in the leg (because his aim was horrible). I won't even tell you about how, in a terrible fit of desperation and frustration, we had sex when I was thirteen and he was fourteen.

Incest? Check.
