Members EricMontreal22
What fascinated me about this campaign is it's one of the few I can ever think of that seems equally targeted at men as women.
Members DRW50
Too bad there was no question about how long until the husband is killed.
Members DRW50
The P&G ads in this were done to plug their shows for the Soap Opera Awards ballot. The ABC Daytime ad is separate, but from the same issue. 5/7/85 Digest
Members Cheap21
That ATWT ad...they all look so young
Members DRW50
ATWT's older cast were often ageless. It's kind of notable that Frank Runyeon/Steve is there but not Lindsay Frost/Betsy.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
Greenlee looks great in that ad. Very great. I miss her. I'd kill to be able to crop that picture of MEK out of that and use it as an avatar. And, WTF with OLTL being last there. Should have been sandwiched between AMC and GH like on the schedule. Members EricMontreal22
Hey but they got more photos than AMC did, that has to count for...something.
Members Cheap21
actually the stars of Ryan's Hope are last on there. None of those are in order of schedule

Members DRW50
That last ad annoys me - you can see how blatantly they were trying for the whole Sopranos angle, when that was already fading from view by the time of the story (2003 wasn't it?). I'd never seen those two Daytime Dilemma ads. I didn't know they were still doing those in recent years. I remember how shocked people were when that first Phillip ad came out. GA has aged pretty well, and that ad made him look like hell.
Members SFK
I was thinking the exact same thing and I had to mentally smack myself when an unsavory MADD quote came to mind.
Members ~bl~
The one for the ABC shows with AMC, Ryan's Hope, OLTL, Loving and GH was done in Alphabetical order it had AMC first, then GH, Loving, OLTL and RH.
