My friend in New York went to see Robin in Love, Loss and What I Wore and met her backstage. She signed his OLTL book (he's gotten every AMC and OLTL soap star he's seen on stage--which has quickly added up--to sign) and apparently talked to him for ten minutes and was thrilled to have (her words) "Such a sweet gay man gush over me". LOL He had nothing but good things to say about her, and said she was by far one of the best women he saw in the play (he's seen it many times--including Kim Zimmer). His friend who went with himn, a theatre snob who looks down on soap ac tors, admitted that she was outstanding.

This is Jim Craig and Anna Wolek's wedding (10 April 1970). We can see practically all the cast, except Viki. Does anyone remember if Viki was there?? And two months later (25 June 1970), Llanview celebrated a big wedding: Larry Wolek and Meredith Lord...and I haven't seen any picture of such celebration. Does anyone have any picture of this wedding???

By the way, In this picture we can see: Victor, Julie, Timmy, Vince, Saddie, Larry, Dr Pryce, Carla, Jack Neal, Meredith, Tom, Joe, Dave, Jim, Anna, Eileen and Cathy....maybe Viki is unseen on the left of the picture, next to Victor...

In 1970, it would have still been Gillian Spencer playing Viki since I think I read that Joann Dorian had only been in the role for about 6 months when Erika took over in March of 1971....so if the wedding was in April, Gillian should have still been on the show then.

That being said, I don't know where Viki would have been at that time....it was before my time...lol. I like Khan's answer though.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
