Members saynotoursoap
Are you asking a legitimate question, or are you being facetious? If the former instead of the latter, yes, Chapin was an actual character. He was played by the late Richard Nicholls, a fine English actor.
Members BKuzak
Thanks. So then was Ethel Crawford a real character from back then too? During Dorian's 1994 trial, they brought back Lee and Ethel Crawford. Soaps have been known to bring people "from the past" back to town who were never in the past to begin with.

Members BKuzak
Oh if not the first episode, i bet it was the second. Remember the whole Carla/Clara storyline was in OLTL's first year and i beleive it was only a half hour show back then so it started pretty early on. Remnember they had to develope the two characters for a while first to make the impact of the storyline be more exciting. Members Vee
Ron and Frank don't always do humor right. But when they do, it sometimes involves amateur porn. (Embedding disabled, sadly.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnGQAqieCfU Ready to commence? Still one of the funniest moments on OLTL for me. I just can't believe they didn't run Nate off the show on a rail immediately after this. Thankfully Grandpa is gone. Members saynotoursoap
Yes, she was real. It was the rest of what various writers penned that sprung soley from their imagination, such as Viki entering Victor's hospital room and smothering him to death. Viki and Joe were admiring the flowers from Llanfair in the hospital garden, and Jim Craig was with Victor when he died, so he could not have been murdered, nor could he have faked his death. I appreciate writers utilizing history to perpetuate story; I just wish Malone et al had attempted to create something that less bastardised established history.
Members BKuzak
suprisining statement from Erika Slezak in current in interview. ""And the Emmy winner says that also goes for Howarth, who is returning as Todd. “He is such an interesting actor,” she raves, adding that the first time they worked together back in the early 90′s, they quickly clicked. “I immediately assumed the role of the older sister [with things like] ‘Don’t play with your fork and knife!’ and ‘Put that down and listen to me!’ And he went with it immediately, and it established a wonderful relationship that unfortunately, I never had with Trevor [st. John]. Trevor didn’t want to play.”"""

Members DRW50
Gabrielle is hilarious in this clip. She really was on the edge of a breakdown for years. I didn't know she and Delilah were close after Delilah got back. I know they had a big falling out before she left. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ousLYRnWuzQ

Members MissLlanviewPA
OLTL's Facebook page just posted this picture of Kassie in her early OLTL years. I can't wait to see her and everyone else again! I just saw this for the first time! My girl Gabby, she's so fabulous . I miss her. I didn't know she and Delila were close, either. Really, besides her mother and sister, it seems like Gabrielle's only female friends were Tina and Alicia Grande.
