She seems to be a lot of fun in the few bits I've seen of her. It's too bad they didn't cast her in another role instead of as Skye as she clearly wasn't what they had planned for the character. I can't imagine how bewildered viewers must have been to go from this to Robin Christopher.

The first actress (Antoinette Byron) who played Skye also was heard singing at Tom's restaurant (the Goal Post).    After the new actress was hired, the singing part of the character was dropped.

When I was little, there was a short-lived FOX sitcom called Women in Prison.  My mother immediately pointed out that she was the first Skye and I questioned the accent.  Antoinette's character on WIP was a "lipstick lesbian", pretty risqué I guess though I don't remember much beyond your typical sitcom gay punchlines.

Received some magazines a few weeks ago, and wanted to pass along a little info...

I got confirmation that Burt Douglas appeared as Lt. Ed Riselli in 1973.

Character I had but knew nothing about...Eddie Chamberlain was Phil Brent's buddy played by Richard Partlow

Actress Jacqueline Brookes appeared as a psychiatrist shortly before joining AW as Beatrice Gordon.   I wonder if she played Dr. Mary Hansen, Erica's psychiatrist , that appeared in January of 1975. She joined AW in April.

Danfling remembers Eleanor Phelps (SOM, SS, TD, LOL, and GL) as Ruth Martin's Aunt Clara Parker, after Kate Martin died.

A few characters I'm trying to identify (there are a bunch) , but if anyone remembers them(Danfling...you have a great memory, so you may)

DA Hamilton 1973

Diane and Derek...Yvonne's Caldwell's sister and son   1984-86

Dr. Katherine Coyle...Erica's psychiatrist in 1983.

Judge Marvin Martell, Brooke's jurist that sent her to jail for not identifying a source...that he was the man behind the ring   1986.

Mike Paine...director of Sean and Devon in a play in Feb. of 1980...I think there may be a video clip somewhere of the three...

Thanks to Danny Hill's upload...Franklin Cover of The Jeffersons appeared as DA Dick Hamilton in the Jason Maxwell murder trial. Earle Hyman was the Judge.

I do not recall any of those characters.   I had thought that Franklin Cover played a judge on the show much later than 1973.

I do not remember the director of the play that Sean and Devon were in, but I do remember that the play was "As You Like It" and that Devon played Portia.

Until this and the 1976 scene between Mona and Pheobes I didn't think Fra Heflin was that good of an actress.  This really shows how devastating the hour-expansion was.

Frances did a decent job in the hour long episodes too, she just didn't have much to do.

Not sure when this is from, beyond late '80s.
