Thanks. I'm glad more of this is showing up - I wish it were full episodes but you can't have it all.

Yes indeed, seems like yesterday.  Of course, who knew that sisters had just met for the first time?  (Can we just forget that retcon bull about Skye not being Adam's?)

I also recall the first time we saw her blonde hair.  I want to say that Brian was up on a ladder, changing a lightbulb or painting or something, and she came in from the kitchen/other room, bashful running her fingers through it.  Brian (and we at home) were so taken aback.  In my youth, it never occurred to me that she was wearing an Elvira wig.  I just assumed that she dyed it.

Does anyone know if Hayley found out she was Adam's daughter before or after Skye (RC) left? I know the show acted like they never met when CG came on, which wasn't true.

I'm almost positive that Skye had already left town.  I don't remember any scenes involving her within this storyline, mostly Adam, Hayley, and Arlene.  I do remember Hayley mentioning off-canvas Skye in loaded conversations with Adam re: his children/parenting skills during the time before CG's "Toni" showed up.

BTW, I thought the way they shoehorned Toni into Skye-dom was so clunky and awkward.

Skye left Pine Valley in early 1991; I want to say February.

Hayley found out she was Adam's daughter in the autumn of 1991, because of a letter Janet had planted stating the fact.  Janet did this because Hayley was hot on her heels to expose her as an impostor and she wanted to distract her.  It worked.... for a bit.  Hayley didn't want to believe it at first, however.

Please tell me the episode with this interview is coming up next!

I've always said that the Dick Cavvett stuff is the stuff I want to see most of.  Is I had a choice between her first appearance and these episodes I would pick the latter.

This FINALLY made its way on to YouTube. It's the special episode of A&E's Biography from 2003 that focuses on AMC with some general soap stuff as well. It focuses mostly on the process of producing a single episode (#8442) while also touching on other topics. I used to have this on VHS, but I haven't had a VCR in yeeeeeeeears. There are some great classic clips in here, including some of that late 70s stuff that I'm always searching for.

I'd love to see the Dick Cavett interview in its entirety as well.  Erica apparently trashes a bunch of peeps and more-or-less refers to Pine Valley as a boring hick town.   Haha!!  Sounds hilarious.
