Members Mr. Vixen
For real. It probably would have been even more rushed then.
Members Cheap21
Why did we have to see Jason sneak into ELIZABETH'S house and cry over Jake's toys? It would have been more effective had she gone to HER home and done that
Members dragonflies
Cause then Cheap we wouldn't get to see the sperm donor's pain

Members Money
There are absolutely NO beats to this story. Everything is literally on autopilot. There is absolutely no emotional investment because Guza didn't even allow the viewer to be invested. This was a complete hack job of epic proportions that was completely unnecessary. I hope GH seriously tanks and they get backlash for this. This is actually a new low for the show. And who does Carly thank in her self pity for saving Josselyn's life? Elizabeth, the mother? Lucky, the father? Nope, Jason. And Robin literally apologizes to Patrick for taking so long to take back his cheating ass because the death of Jake puts everything into perspective. Utterly disgusting on ever level.
Members Cheap21
Im surprise they didnt have Brenda around to make Jason losing his son about her losing her own child. That would be another way to take the fcous away from the true parents
Members miche
I would like to thank GH for proving to me that they were spinning the "big Elizabeth storyline" that we should all turn in to in March as part of BH exist. Elizabeth doesn't matter in this. It all about Jason's pains and Carly
Members remos
No. It's actually being done quite well. Look, I've been in the hospital. I've been the chaplain with the family. I've been the counsellor with those in grief. I've been the supporter/friend who's had to share the walk as best I can. I've been the paster leading the funeral/memorial services. I know everyone wants to believe everyone will be given time to grieve, but they aren't. There are true deadlines that have to be met immediately, paperwork that needs to be tended to, if donations are part of it then it's got to happen quickly. People are not given very long to say their goodbyes - and regardless of how much time they are given it is never enough. And everyone grieves in their own way. Luke's reaction is not uncommon. Some people just cannot be there and wait until they are needed. Jason's reaction is not uncommon. Some people take hours, days, years to have an emotional break. Liz's reaction is not uncommon. People swing from consumed by grief to complete clarity of purpose within seconds. GH is giving a full spectrum of experiences, and I was ready to hug Luke today while he was talking to Lucky about how he's going to feel and how this will never go away. TPTB might not always have the legalities or technicalities correct in their stories, and their sense of geography is enough to make me growl, but when it comes to emotional response and true expressions of wisdom, they know what they are doing. Members quartermainefan
I liked GV as Lucky and was sad to see him go because he was so likable and I was used to him, but JJ is just as much Lucky as GV was, and it took me literally one second to adjust. I saw JJ and there was Lucky again. GV is a perfect soap handsome man, but he isn't a great actor and often when he had to yell or show strong emotion he sounded like Macho Man Randy Savage. I don't think he would have been able to do some of the scenes justice the way JJ did. The silent scene telling Elizabeth and the scene where he couldn't open the door were real standouts for me. GV would have been lacking unfortunately.
Members Mr. Vixen
All of that may be true in real life Remos, but this isn't real life. This is a soap opera and the problem is, it's missing the soap. They are all about long arching storylines that involve good drama. All of this was handled in two days. Maybe it's realistic, but it certainly doesn't give the viewer ANY time to connect to anything. Not to mention the fact that they can't even be bothered to focus on Lucky and Liz, Jake's REAL parents. Also, Cheap you're right. That was just dumb having them page Monica. Because now we know she's in the hospital...And you don't think she would know about Jake being brought in? It was dumb.
Members Juliajms
I could believe it. Josslyn has a second chance because of Jason? F*ck that! She has another chance because Lucky convinced Liz to let go. Liz was right on when she said that she and Lucky were the ones left with a hole in their lives. Carly should be on her knees thanking Lucky and Liz. And Robin apologizing to Patrick. I'm sure all of that is true, but it's one hell of a time for GH to be realistic. I'd much rather see all of the beats of the story play out than this rush job we are getting, reality be damned. If you are going to kill off a kid, I want to see every emotional beat to the story. Members alexisfan07
I think it's rushed cause they were writing Becky out but now that she's staying, hopefully we'll see more of the reactions in her post-renewal appearances
Members Cheap21
I respect your opinion but I strongly disagree. This story is a mess. We are only 3 days into it and already the problem's been solved. They are going WAY too fast. They have not played all the beats to the story and they arent exploring or developing any of the reactions. Everything is on turbo. Forget about the supporting characters that you are focusing on. Im talking about the main players, Liz, Lucky, Carly, Jax and Jason. Jax and Carly should have been dealing with Joss' cancer for at least several weeks to months. You dont get life or death situation and have it resolved as quickly as this show has done. They are playing Liz and Lucky down and not focusing on them as much as they should. How the heck did Liz change her mind so quick? Why was she nowhere in the last half of the episode? Jason's probably the one thats getting the most development here which is a shame bc there wasnt much build up going into this. I cant see how anyoine can wath this and say its being down well. The story is a mess
