Cameron Mathison and Rebecca Budig are going to be on the "One Life to Lose" episode of Castle. This episode will be about a murder on the set of a fictional soap opera. Here's a link featuring more information about which characters they will play on the show.

I'm surprised those two weren't selected for the Hot in Cleveland crossover as well.

Apparently it's the soap opera's headwriter who is murdered.

Did anyone see this? I remember it being on but not being motivated enough to watch.

Castle tapes in LA so I'm not that surprised they didn't go with OLTL peeps but I'll always hope for Strasser to get a guest gig.

Did anybody think Frons wouldn't choose Budig/Mathison? I'm just surprised he didn't manage to shove Vanessa Marcil in there too.

Apparently they shoot it on a lot. They did shoot some of S1 on location but the bulk of shooting for this season has been in LA. I like the show but I DESPISE that they're set in NYC but don't shoot there.

Yeah, that's crap.

I saw something years ago where NYPD Blue does interiors in L.A., but shot location stuff in the city.

Castle shoots alot of their outside scenes in downtown LA.

Apparently it costs a lot to shoot in NY, and the Mayor really has dropped the ball on retaining shows. If it was too expensive to keep AMC in NY, then maybe there was a tax break or incentive somewhere that would have kept the show home and saved all the NY jobs that were lost. I don't think anyone even tried to see if there was a way to convince ABC to stay in NY.

NYC let the tax break for TV/film production lapse and they've been paying for it ever since. I remember when Fringe moved from NY to Vancouver, it made me sick because the only reason they moved was because they lost the tax break. I just hate seeing shows like Castle or V that are set in New York but don't/can't/won't shoot there. The city needs that business so badly.

R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away

The gasp I let out at the library earlier as I was working on my writing projects. I about broke down.

I can't believe both of the Spencer duo are gone. Bobbie was my favorite so that tore me off. This...just...this hurts.

Count me in for not messing with his death, but I do hope they do something with him on screen.

Good and bad, Anthony Geary made Luke a force of nature and I can think of so many times when he enhanced so much story onscreen. I remember Luke leaving or returning to town to accommodate Anthony's vacation was always an event. Latter Years Luke wasn't a favorite, but Anthony Geary still had moments for me.

R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away

These posts both speak to me. I was sad to hear of his passing, and I remember thinking Luke and his lore were cool when I started watching GH (as an adolescent who was not in any way cool). I missed what by most account what was the worst of Luke in later years. I did respect his supporting role in stories at times when he purportedly did not enjoy being on GH. I am remembering some of that now.

That's a good idea. I'd think JJ would come back, and they can easily just recast Nathan again if they have to acknowledge him.
A fight to the death with Helena would have been a good way (although wasn't she dead by then). Heroics probably wouldn't have worked as Luke was not a hero in his last decades.
They probably should have had him pass away in a brothel.

I decided to watch today for the first time since Chance was unceremoniously tossed aside.
I thought the costuming was refreshing and flattering on all the actors. The win goes to dressing Chelsea as a 50s dutiful housewife on the night she realizes Adam's loyalty to Victor will always win.
There's no doubt that Graz is MS's best screen partner - even better than SC. The rapid fire way he spit those lines - basically saying everything the audience feels about Phyllis - in a humorous manner. In reality if anyone else said those lines, they'd come across as mean spirited.
I am surprised at the chem between CK + BF. I absolutely didn't feel it in those early scenes, but there might be potential.
Can Josh please stop writing Devon as such an absolute downer? When was the last time Devon had anything positive to say? We know Bryton can do so much more.
EB was really struggling in this episode. I can't recall another time when his delivery of every single line was off. Eh, he's 84 and I respect that he still wants to work.
Honestly, I'm grateful I can tune in to Y&R after a hiatus to see TGVN ruling the roost. As we all know, it won't always be this way.

The best way to pay tribute would just be to do it on the anniversary of when Luke died and have his closest family and friends gather to remember him properly. They could use Lulu as an excuse since she was in a coma when it first happened.
