I actually am always curious to see how Carly would have evolved had JB stayed. She was week at first, so they wrote her out by having a mental breakdown...And she really started to shine.

To be fair, he never was on board with sabotaging the wedding since he admires Mister Sir and the Divine One. He was down with framing Dante for corruption. Once he found out about Dante, Brenda and the baby, he began to have second thoughts and immediately pleaded with that rampaging equine not to use this information because of the effect it will have on Brenda and Sonny. This was at Luke and Tracy's wedding before Sonny and Brenda had announced their engagement. So Spinelli was against this right from the start.
