February 3, 201115 yr Member And yet the gossip about her being fired to save money prob won't end... Sigh.
February 3, 201115 yr Member Makes you wonder why they bothered with Jannie at all given they knew 9 months ago she was leaving
February 3, 201115 yr Member Why did they waste SO much time developing JR & Annie, who IMO are AMAZING together, when all the while MCE was going to end up leaving in the first place? SMDH. Thanks for posting that news, dragonflies.
February 3, 201115 yr Member They might have been trying to convince her to stay. When they saw that clearly wasn't happening, they recast Marissa with a more sexy, better actress and began to send Annie to crazytown.
February 4, 201115 yr Member Okay, if yall wish they hadn't spent so much time giving you all a couple/story that you all enjoy a great deal, would you rather they had given you even more sh!t for the last half-year? Edited February 4, 201115 yr by All My Shadows

Thanks for posting that news, dragonflies. What did you expect the show to do with them? Have dinner with Frankie and Randi? If MCE was on the backburner for 9 months people would complain also. Damned if they do. Damned if they don't. Alicia Minshew is leaving in a few months. Let's put Kendall on the backburner! Actually, just kill her off! KILL KENDALL! KILL KENDALL! February 4, 201115 yr Member They could have done other things with Annie. Nah KILL ANNIE, either way Rylee will raise Emma
February 4, 201115 yr Member I dont see an issue with them giving her and JR a love story knowing he was going to leave. The problem seems to be the 180 the story has taken in the last month and a half. Its not consistent as if she just told them she was leaving so they were gearing up for an exit story

February 17, 201115 yr Member I'm not a fan of Annie's or MCE's, but even I could see how much the character was driving story. Undoubtedly, this is a huge blow to AMC's stability at a time when it really needs all the help it can get.
