More info from CBL.

@ They kept the song, it's legend! But the visual will be different, I'm not sure the specifics but sounds pretty cool..

I'm guessing this opening will look like GH. I don't like that.

why would you say that? I dont imagine it will look like GH at all. This isnt 2004. All 3 soaps have their own individual looks now, from the openings down to the different bumpers they use

Just a hunch.

I think it'll look like OLTL's: a current mashup of old and new shots, which looks tacky, but what are you gonna do. It's possible they're getting some new widescreen scrapbook graphics that will prevent the stretching of the old shots but I really don't think we're getting all-new shots.

I also loved the '02 sequence. A little heavy on the gold, but it was gorgeous, and it would look amazing in HD.

It would be ridiculous if they didn't update the shots. Half of the cast is still being represented by their 2004 selves.

Can't wait! :wub: Wonder if the closing picture that floats before Erica's will be Bianca's?

Hopefully that whole concept is gone (not that I don't like it, but it's time for a major overhaul).

The theme I don't mind. The trashy guitar riffs they added when they updated from the signature scrapbook I do mind.

I agree with most who loved the short lived 2002 opening. And I dunno, if they got rid of that old concept, I'd imagine something coming in much worse.

Frons will partner up with Mark Zuckerberg to use the Facebook typeface for the logo and use the terms "like."

The "digital age" scrap/picture book.

I don't expect anything more than the mish-mash type of update OLTL got.

And if they do make more extensive changes I don't trust the same people who use clock swipe transitions (which do not belong in anything other than amateur high school video projects) on this show to churn out anything half decent.

I don't know Chrishell well enough to know what to make of this. She responded to my tweet. Anyone have any ideas?

@Chrishell7 hey chrishell :) christina mentioned she shot her opening picture. did they re-shoot all you vets too?

@vicksvapor77 Haha! Yeah right! ;)

LMAO. The Facebook photo album. The show title card will consist of an awkwardly cropped picture of Ryan and Greenlee playing beer pong with the album title "ALL MY KIDS!!!! lol haha" underneath.
