All good points. What I do like about Victor/Maggie is that their story is moving slowly. Whenever they eventually end up together, I am interested to see how they co-exist together, if they're able to live in each other's different world. It's just I'm a huge fan of Victor's when he's doing bad things, so I'm afraid we won't see that aspect of Victor anymore when he gets together with Maggie.

IA. Victor and Maggie only work now bc of the changes that have happened in their lives. It was a perfect oppurtunity for them to connect and get closer. I totally buy them. I dont care if Victor mellows bc I dont need to see him as a ruthless menace. He can be much more than that

I love Victor when he is ruthless, what i love about him and Maggie is it shows off his depth. It fully rounds him. The two of them, somehow, for me anyways, just fit. they work. And if this was 5 years ago? No way. But the story was somewhat organic and has gone so slowly that i buy it. I dont see them making him all happy go lucky and pleasent just because he is with Maggie, i see him being who he is and that being a constant issue in their relationship.

Yes, exactly.

LOL, that is her MOST over the top performance ever.

Its my fave too, actually. lol.

I agree with your statement about the 6 characters being drawn more 3-D but I think characters like Stephanie and Chloe have enough history to mine to become more 3-D. This is where acting ability comes into play because an actor can help fill in the blanks that the writers' leave. It seems like the performer and writer are a team... if one is faltering then the other can pick up the slack. However, if both are faltering then Houston we have a problem.

I've seen glimpses of it in Stephanie, both from the writers and the actress, the past six months or so. This girl is just desperate to have a man, any man, be hers and only hers. After what she went through with Jeremy, Max, Phillip, and the rape, it makes sense that she would be clinging to Nathan like this. I just wish they'd be a bit more explicit about that stuff, and about how it's influenced by having grown up not knowing her dad. The writing for Stephanie in general has been all over the map since 2006, but they have a chance to unify things here. I hope they go the extra mile and really make it work.

Chloe is just... they've taken to writing her like such a cardboard heroine. Nadia's portrayal certainly doesn't add layers. I just wish we hadn't totally lost that wounded, defensive "Ghoul Girl" character entirely. I also loved the stuff when she and Lucas were getting together and she was totally not comfortable dealing with Allie. Obviously, she got used to it, but her enthusiasm about Parker is a far cry from that. I loved the idea that there was a woman in her 20s on this show who didn't desperately want to be a mother.
