Members DeeeDee
And the sad thing is had Maria given Michael/Lauren a basic short vacation due to stress from work/Daisy story it would be much more interesting than the disgusting Nick/Sharon/Adam/Giggly Heffa stuff. It would allow a small bit of romance & the chance to properly utilize the location shoot. And by letting Michael/Lauren run into & help Sharon it gets all 3 away temporarily from the dead ends that are Gloria, Jeff, Daisy, Giggly Heffa, Jana & Kevin. Members P.J.
Today sure illustrated that. OMG...that was the most boring breakup argument I've ever witnessed. FCOL, I watched OLTL, and saw Bo throw Nora's past in her face---and that was a THOUSAND times more interesting. Done without a location shoot, porn music and spiked heels. SHOCKING, I know. Members juniorz1
***raises hand*** I'll gladly back you up. Shrad were the hotness and Diamont & Case had raw chemistry. Them going at it in the car in the Newman garage was hot and their sex scene, while it could have been produced & directed betterm, was still fire. I remember when Sharon fell back onto the bed, there was a moment where he just looked at her like an animal that was about to devour her. They were delicious. All of the scenes they shared after Cassie died were amazing as well. It REALLY pissed me off that they had Brad finally away from Victoria, ready to pursue Sharon, but they made it come off like he was obsessed and she rejected him because she thought she'd have a shot at Nick's penis again (she got it, moments later). And then they killed Brad. Here's the Shrad sex for those who haven't seen it (Sylph! ) The "look" starts at 1:49 and really kicks in at 1:55 Please register in order to view this content
Members Cat
Thank you for backing me up! I remember the garage kiss, which was intense. That scene you posted is hilarious at the beginning with Sharon struggling to get out of her coat. I had forgotten what a pretty, defined face she used to have. Ironic that Y&R considered Phick its "hot, dirty sex" couple, and yet in that scene they come across as deadly dull. Interesting that the show interspersed scenes with Giggly Heffa and Nick "parenting" Noah while "that hussy" Sharon purred against Brad like a kitten. This was probably around the time Y&R stopped being subtle and started propping certain characters? I cannot tell you how disappointed I was when they killed off Brad. I hated him under LML, but he came back for the NE board meeting, watching in admiration as his ex-wife Ashley took over the reins of Jabot (briefly), bitching out Grambo and giving Colleen business advice. Then he had an AMAZING scene with Traci which reminded me why this couple worked in the first place, despite the fact that she was meant to be the "ugly duckling" and he was the pool-boy. Of course he fell in love with her sweet nature, intelligence and radiance -- who wouldn't? Finally, that scene where he went to the cabin and tried to convince Sharon to give them a chance -- man, even Case looked torn. SC later said in an interview that she had wanted to go ahead with Shrad. She must have guessed the damage to be wrought on her character if Sharon had an affair with Nick. Members Cat
So... does anybody like Deacon & Nikki?
Members DeeeDee
They would be tolerable if Nikki's last husband wasn't David Chow & Deacon hadn't been part of the Terroni debacle.
Members Cat
I had to think about WTH is Terroni for, like, 3 minutes before I remembered. the fake Italian artist that Daniel was meant to copyzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Sarah Smythezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. If people think the Nawlins remote is bad... man, that entire Terroni/Smythe SL from start to finish was a clusterfuck conceived on the back of a cocktail napkin. Just the worst thing I have ever seen on Y&R, EVER. It made Out of our Asses and Phyllis nailing Deacon on a dumpster look like Shakespeare. Members DeeeDee
MTS usually has good chemistry with men that aren't Victor but her being with Deacon after Victor & David (Paul being an exception) makes no sense. Well it does make sense given her love of co dependent relationships but the last man she was with (that wasn't Victor or Paul) lied to her, used her & tried to kill her while she coddled & made excuses for him (the same thing she's already started to do with Deacon). But Y&R is the same show that has a woman HAPPILY sleeping with the man who kidnapped her baby & told her it was deformed & dead (Sharon), a second that has (as usual) convinced herself she is the victim in not one but TWO separate love triangles (Giggly Heffa) & a third making deals with the devil who repeatedly beat her at her own game cause she finally realized she couldn't force the man she loved to love her back (Skye). The misogyny is just really sick.
Members bellcurve
I had no idea Laura Stone was the one that did the Yaz commercials. I miss Faulkner. YAZ Y'ALL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EO-G8O0lHq0
Members lovely_m
It's going to be bad when Victor finds out he was conspiring with Meggie to get Nikki to fall off the wagon. He'll rub it in her face as she begs him to take her back.

Members lovely_m
If anyone is wondering here's what categories Y&R "won" in the annual SOD best and worst Best Recast: Marcy Rylan Worst Recast: Eden Rigel Best New Couple: Billy and Victoria Worst Use of History: Lauren/Sarah and Patty/Emily Worst Wedding: JT and Mac Best Breakup: Nick and Phyllis Most Boring Character: Chance
Members DRW50
Even calling Rylan a "recast" is generous. Unless they mean recast of Amber.

Members Cat
I'm... assuming you don't mind Deacon? So I was watching yesterday and for one second thought that Davetta was back on the show! Woot! Then I realized it was Adam's two-minute defense lawyer Leslie Michaelson.
