This always gets discussed in the show discussion threads, but hasn't had it's own topic quite some time. So I thought I would start one.

What are, in your opinion, some of the most POWERFUL scenes in daytime?

Tracy Witholds Edward's Medication: Possibly my favorite scene of ALL TIME. Jane Elliott is FABULOUS as always...BTW did anyone else notice that they STILL have this set? Or one just like it? It's the loft in the MetroCourt Jax used to live in!

"Not Barbara Jean's Heart": POWERHOUSE acting all around Jackie Zeman, Brad Maule, Kristina Wagner. All Fantastic in this storyline. This might just be the most powerful scene in daytime, IMO. It just breaks my heart everytime.

There are some scenes that stick with me, and not all the great scenes were people upset that someone died

This scene Constance Towers gives the scene of her GH tenure where she manages to convey hatred and a hint of incest all in one.

Wow, the same courtroom where Karen Wolek had her emotional breakdown (on OLTL). Must be something in the decor.

I don't know if any clip of it exists, but the first scene that comes to mind for me is when Margo pulls the plug on Casey on As the World Turns. Not only is the scene itself powerful, the whole story was fantastic. It's a kind of story you don't get anymore in daytime.
