There was never resolution to the character and she wasn't portrayed as a villain like Phyllis. She just had a crush on Danny. To me, she was boring and pointless.

In real-life, the actress playing Bernadette, Kelli Rabke, co-starred with Michael Damian in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Broadway.

Remember how the April story stopped all the sudden at beginning of May?

I don't have proof of this, but my theory is - it wasn't supposed to stop. Michael Damian was supposed to leave for Joseph, and then Cricket and Paul would transition straight to the April story.

Instead, Michael Damian's broadway debut was delayed, so he stayed on the show another 6 months... the April story was delayed 6 months... and the writers came up with the "senior citizen" story to keep Cricket and Paul busy during the interim.  And Bernadette was kept around

Yes. I was at a fan event about 5 years ago and someone asked about this. Some of the actors, like Josh Morrow, were surprised it is not already fully available on streaming (sigh...). Christian Le Blanc told us that Sony was digitizing the archives (but not with any particular plan to release) and he thought it was done or almost done, so they should exist all in pristine condition.

Thank you so much for this information. I am telling this to my husband and we are both so happy that the episodes are not lost. It will be a dream come true when they start streaming them. I believe they will some day...

Bernadette also made a brief return, April 10, 1995 when Cricket ran into her at the hotel Restaurant (I think?) that Danny was also staying at. Bernadette provided more details of what she witnessed of Phyllis coming on to Danny, during the after partys of their Joseph performances.

I literally can't think of ANY good reason why they won't release the full series for streaming like B&B is doing, except for the simple fact that SONY SUCKS lol🤣🙄

Taking the chance, does anyone remember any other Nikki Slaps Pre-1999??? There's very few of hers Documented and I fail to believe a woman like her didn't slap more often!

Nikki's confrontations were mostly verbal, at least in the Bill Bell years. I can't remember any Nikki bitch slaps from that time.

Honestly with the exception of Victoria slapping Nina in 1994, and the obvious cat fights, the woman barely seemed to lay a hand on each other for a good slap. It seemed like the men got slapped more in the Bill Bell years.
