my favorite Y&R background music of all time starts at 7:41 on the July 7, 1993 episode. Do you have anymore with that full music??

They play it a lot during most of the classic episodes....I swear they used it almost everyday, haha

I think so, possibly during Phyllis' kidnapping. She used the soft piano opening music to this episode a lot too, I think it was mostly for Nick and Phyllis.

It seems like they used the full version of it back more in the 80s and early 90s. I especially love when they end a scene with it to make it suspenseful. The earliest time they used it from what I've seen and the DVD edits I have were from November of '83 when Kay tries to press Jill into admitting she's not really pregnant and Jill then faints. It's used like 3 times in a row for those scenes. I'm guessing that's around the time they debuted it.

Does anyone have any episodes from 1989 that they could upload at all besides the ones that are already on here?? Especially if they involve Phillip III's death or Jabot being taken over.

If anyone has anything from 2011 (preferably March, April, May) id love it if it could be uploaded here! I missed a lot of that time period and always wanted to watch. I'm aware that it was most likely trash but Sharon Case had a lot of material during that time and I regret not watching it.

About 11, 12 minutes in Jack Staufer talks about being fired from Y&R after clashing with the EP over line changes. He was on the show twice per IMDB (I don't know anything about his characters). Do you know which time he's talking about?

It says he was on Y&R from 1977-1978 and 1987

I would imagine he was referring to his earlier stint as Scott Adams and the producer was John Conboy.

I think the latter role was a couple of day thing at most.

Dr. Scott Adams was involved with Nikki.  Snapper set them up with Casey's permission. Although she couldn't believe he wasn't just interested in her body, he convinced her she could be a better person if she tried. Not long after she slept with her professor for a grade.

I looked this up in the Anniversary book--I couldn't remember the storyline, only that he was with Nikki.

Not sure about the Sherman Madison role in 87 though.

Thanks. I never knew about any of this, or her and the teacher. I wonder if they had any real plans for the story. Nikki seemed to be in all sorts of directions in those years.
