That's just it. I think he elicits a variety or responses. If he truly offends you, you will ignore him altogether. If you are reading him at all, he doesn't annoy you THAT damn much. Perhaps you can appreciate the "news" in his column though from time-to-time you find yourself annoyed by his bits of commentary (that would be me). I can laugh off the shear outrageousness and ridiculousness of it all, though maybe I'm crying just a little on the inside that this is "soap press". Then there are those who I was alluding to (I have also fallen into this category) who are so disenfranchised with the medium that they are always up for some dish and diss whether the target is Nelson, [!@#$%^&*]**, or any number of EPs, HWs, and IICs. If these folks weren't on some level interesting (<--not necessarily a "good" adjective), they wouldn't get talked about.

**Damn, even the first name alone got *bleeped*!

I couldnt disagree more. Honestly, i was shocked peck got another job, and i loved him on days. But i thought he was damn good and grew a lot on ATWT.

I totally get it.

It does bother me when people copy/paste entire articles in general tho, but i am fully guilty of this. I just think that if your reading anything a person had to write, then they deserve the hit.

and LMFAO at pepsi smash.

Yes, all very true.

There's just something about the mantle of that online TV Guide soaps column. Reiner got some flack, (Dixon, none really), then Coleridge got his share of dissent, now Branco. The more Perez it got, the bigger the backlash.

I disagreed with her about the reason why people like Dru. I like Lexie, If they writer for her that separate her away from Abe. I'll watch DAYS. & she's not ghetto as Dru.

I agree with the Christel Khalil but disagree with her about DavettaLily & Daniel. People didn't care for Lily when Christel first & second run. When Davetta took over I believe she brought more fans to the Daniel & Lily coupling. Davettalily had people care about Dru daughter.

Until this day, people could give an rats ass about ChristelLily unles she's with a man.

    • On GL we only saw young GA's Philip in very short shorts but on AMC we saw GA's Alec McIntyre in a speedo.  But, on GL, an older GA/Philip is having sex with Olivia in a hotel room where Bruce Barry was directing & he & she both end up down to nothing but black underwear & at one point his bicep is covering her entire upper body so it appears that she is naked. I think they ended up on the floor between the bed & the wall. That was when I realized that Grant's body was better than Steve Burton's. (Olivia was cheating. Her husband Alan was in the hospital.) It is notable that I can speak with any insight AT ALL about these bodies since that is not the team I play for! LOL
    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
