There are a lot of other shows that have women screaming or yelling or being ignorant, to the point where The View feels like more of the same. Joy was an idiot and wore out her welcome long before she left, IMO. Whoopi has tainted herself beyond repair in terms of having any opinion of value. Rosie just seems like a part of the past.

I wish they'd just have the guts to cancel it. As long as they maintain status quo, the show will continue to fade into irrelevance.

Knowing them, they will think the answer is something like hiring Brandi Glans, or Bethenny Frankel.

They'd hire Nene before those two. Rosie and Whoopi love Nene.

Well, that would be interesting, I guess (I'd prefer her to the other two), but probably something they would have been better off doing a few years ago.

What they need to do is ask themselves - what is this show, what can we do to stand out, why are we on the air?

If their answer is, "It's because we're The View," then they got it wrong.

The show has gotten so stale and boring. It use to be a fun show to watch IMO…now The Talk is more interesting than the View...

Rosie O has been more irritating than normal since Whoopi has been out. She needs someone to rein her in!

The view needed to go younger and fresher, and it did the opposite.

My friend, Amanda Seales, is co-hosting on the 26th, and quite frankly, she'd be an excellent permanent host. She's intelligent, funny, passionately opinionated, and she kisses zero ass. She's the sort of feisty presence who is guaranteed to give the show those heated viral incidents they live for.

Chile no. Nene is funny but she has nothing of substance to offer as far as commentary on political and social issues.

If Lisa Rinna were in New York, I've always felt she would be good. Staying with housewives (a good place to look IMO), Carole Radziwill or Countess Luann would be the obvious choices over someone like Bethenny IMO. Luann especially because she could bring a touch of class and civility and also boost their lifestyle segments. Carole would work because she's funny and can be lowbrow like Meredith, but also has a strong news background. Honestly, she'd be a smart choice for moderator. Whoopi needs to go.

I also like the idea of Laverne Cox on the show. She's done well in her guest stints.

Rosie O may not know what ABC news has planned. I wouldnt be shocked if Rosie P doesnt return

Maybe Naya would be a good replacement and then have the 5th chair be a recurring group of guys
