I enjoyed today's episode. Actually I have been really enjoying AMC even more the past few weeks. I think DK & DS are doing a great job with the more traditional storytelling. The ratings may not be reflecting how good the show has been but I have faith things will get better ratings wise so TPTB don't try and change the show I have been loving so much.

I thought today's ep was pretty good....the party was kinda strange, the only people who seemed to be having fun were Jake & Amanda. I liked the idea behind it though, to motivate Greenlee and let her know she has people who love her.

I loved Kendall's voice mail message to Zach at the end of the show.

I'm a fan of the Slater House set, glad to see it back smile.gif

I just don't care about any of the Ryan stuff, and when he's with Greenlee I just zone them out all together. Madison is really looking dumb right though, I'm holding out hope that this is all just an act by her and she'll go psycho or something on all of them soon.

Still not getting why Madison is all giddy up happy over getting the key to Ryan's apartment. Madison you have been busting into that apartment for months now without Ryan knowing....LOL why are you acting like this is something new?

Angie stuff was good and I loved her talk with Krystal.

I really agree here. The show has some flaws, for me it's really just Ryan/Greenlee, but the rest I'm really finding to be enjoyable and I think the show is good right now.

You can see why Jordi and Lindsay are needed. BTW Krystal not sharing scenes w/ her daughter what does that tell me?

It was fun, but it exposed what holds the show back, how no one cares about Rylee, Madison is used as this other girl. She's Annie 2005 sucking up to Greenlee, while Greenlee is giving her the invisible middle finger. No one really cares about Zach. His time IMO has come and gone and he holds Kendall's character back and she comes off pathetic, I hope this gets to a point Zach is doing something stupid b/c she pissed him off, like banging Reese or something, and then soap death b/c then I would guess Greenlee has a place to stay in.

Loved Krystal and Angie, Krystal w/ no daughters is still cracking me up, I mean she's judging who's unfit as a parent, but where's Jenny? where's Kathy? IDK if there's another daughter I'm missing but srsly  also w. Ryan and Madison outside, and the show told Madison is Emma's temp. babysitter, who the f-ck was taking care of Emma tonight?

Jackson and Jesse were ok. Jesse/Angie was nice.

    • Holly's final big story was the Sebastian mess in late 2004.   Vanessa and Matt were promoted to regulars near the end and were heavily recurring prior to that starting around 2007/2008.
    • Keith has a softer presence, but it would have helped to see him be more aggressive or proactive in protecting them instead of standing around like a mannequin. A man the audience should be hoping and wishing gets back together. Nicole needs a new husband!
    • She needs to learn to be honest with her husband about her lusty interests because being sex positive only works if you're not cheating on your spouse.

    • Very disappointed in the writers in the way they are screwing with Nicole, Ted,  and Kat to make Leslie remain viable. So many holes everywhere.
    • Somebody brought this up elsewhere which emphasizes why this NuTed appears as such a weakling. Why is Kat doing what HE should be doing? And that's everything he can to rid him and his family of this crazy woman. Kat is doing all kinds of things she shouldn't do but now I understand her more. She can't count on her father to eliminate this woman because he's a wimp. He's been too busy inviting her into his home and serving her drinks and offering her invitations to birthday parties. WIMP!!!!

    • This is (maybe) overly simplistic and nonsoapy, but Doug needs to go to Gamblers Anonymous, to deal with the addictive neurological excitement hits that gambling gives him - and which control his life. Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her.
    • YT keeps commending GL clips to me. I discovered Kathleen Cullen was on in Christmas 1987. Was there any talk of making it permanent  or was this just a special visit? I wish they had made the visit permanent. I liked her chemistry with Grant Aleksander.
    • I'm not sure it's as unpopular as you think.  I just think the show knew they were in a bind, and needed a proven couple for the viewers to invest in. Trying to reunite Vanessa and Ross had just failed in 87. I don't think Ed and Holly's affair was well received, as Simon and Garrett had a brother/sister chemistry. Enter Billy and Vanessa, who give you history and an out not to try and do a Josh/Reva/Billy triangle, which would've really wrecked the relationship between Josh and Billy. I'd have been ok with trying Vanessa/Ross again, and doing a Vanessa/Ross/Holly/Billy quad for a while. I hated Nadine. HATED. She had to be the most insufferable also-ran before ATWT's Julia Lindsay. This is where I wish I knew Roger's history better.
