Members soapfave06
I always thought Joyce came to town in 1973, that's why I always enjoy these posts. Thanks Carl!
Members DRW50
Thanks for reading! 72/73/74 always confuse me in Irna's material and how that changed. I guess she had nothing to do with Grant.
Members Chris B
A new 10 episode James Stenbeck DVD has been released. It only covers the 80s, which is a great idea IMO. I think that Carjack DVD worked so well because there were less years to cover so it was able to give you a good scope of their relationship. Since this just focuses on the 80s they'll be able to condense the story better, plus if it sells well you can do another set. I'm excited!

Members RogerNewcomb
Hope you enjoy the new DVD. There were so many options but focused on the '80s and it covers everything from Santo Domingo and Spain to the helicopter scene were James shoots Hank Elliot.
Members KMan101
Im happy that his 'heyday' period is covered. I think it leaves the door open for another set with his 90s/00s returns even though i think his last great run was in the 90s. I dont think the 00s gave him much great stuff to work with except being brought back and told how horrible he was until he died then returned for the same abuse.
Members RogerNewcomb
The second episode on this set is, I believe, Peter Reckell's first episode. I chose it because just about any character I could think of from May 1980 appeared on it, and when James and Barbara run into Nancy, Chris and Lisa, Nancy gives Barbara's engagement ring a cross look (for just a split second) that made me think of early Nancy Hughes.
Members DRW50
This is great news. I'm so glad that most of these are from the early 80's, which is tough to find.
Members RogerNewcomb
These are all from the 1980s. First one shortly after James arrived in Oakdale in Feb. 1980 through the famous helicopter scene with Paul and Hank in 1989.

Members RogerNewcomb
Thanks, dragonflies. I brought Colleen into SoapClassics one day when I was picking preview clips for the website. She shared stories with everyone and we both had a blast that afternoon. Then we went to see Gregg Marx (ex-Tom) perform that night. He can sing!
