"Why would Keith ever say such ridiculous and hurtful things about women and my fan base in the press?"

 Mistakes like this hurt the legitimacy of any article or written statement.

However he did not say KHC is NOT GAY! which is what any straight actors and alot of cloest gay ones would say!

They seem to be onmly worried about the fanbase , sci fi convention money!

Most actors would freakout over being called gay.

I'll believe it when I read it in the Advocate. Until then, I think this has been an exercise in gossip... and not even the good, juicy, comfort food kind, either.

what was the hurtful thing he said about women? That they wore clip on dreads? I saw nothing really hurtful in that comment. And the whole "my fanbase" thing in the response sort of calls the entire statement into doubt. What the heck does her fanbase have to do with anything, and would it have been better if he picked a different fanbase? That's the implication by inserting the word "my" into it.

The "is he/she or isn't he/she" part of these types of celeb stories is the part I find least interesting, it's the fan reaction I always get a kick out of... how some will "go to bat" defending their favorite star like homosexuality is up their with chopping up your mother and touching neighbor children.

And no offense, but I was thinking, "Was it *that* deep that 'the studio' (because this is 1953) had to set you up with women for events?"

I know, right? Apparently Keith was the Rock Hudson of AMC. Although to be fair, it seems like TPTB are perpetually stuck in 1953 even now.
