Members Ann_SS
If this can't be worked out, OLTL and AMC are a year or two closer to cancellation.
Members bellcurve
If one of the three soaps is canceled, the new ABC News chief should lobby to get that hour. It will be one thing that Frons can't control.
Members Scotty
Not unless Frons is promoted to that position.

Members OLTL_fan
ABC would have to be out of their minds to promote this man. He should be gone.
Members leahanna
maybe I am slow, but why does this news mean OLTL gets canceled? I am not following, they would still have to pay the writers but they would still do the classic episodes, the writers would just get what they are promised, I don't see how that causes the shows to be canceled and it is very annoying that as soon as any news of any kind comes out, it is always OLTL is getting canceled
Members LeClerc
Wasn't it said when this was first discussed that if ABC didn't get what it wanted it would just fire a writer or two per show?
Members NYC123
ABC shows have at LEAST 1 more year. They are going to give ABC shows a chance espically now ATWT is gone and being replaced by the talk show.
