God I love John Ross & PamBecca scenes.

I need for Christopher to find out what Elena's doing and maybe... just maybe they'll become semi interesting to me. I want it exposed in the finale.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS A CRAZY MATCH IN MATRIMONY! Great surprise ending, GO John Ross/PamBecca!

Daytime Confidential had an article about with Patrick Duffy discussing it but TNT hasn't said a word about it. I honestly don't know if Dallas will be renewed. Didn't the premiere episode back in 2012 have like 6.8 million viewers? Now its down to hovering around 2.7 million which is not good because three of the four network daytime soaps have higher ratings. GH's ratings for Monday were 3,094,000. So factoring that in I'm not sure if Dallas will get another season especially since I would imagine its expensive to produce.

This season of Dallas has also been up against new episodes of shows on the major networks too. I have always noticed that shows on TNT seem to get better ratings when they run over the summer. But again as long as the show brings in the key demographics for the network, there is no telling what they may do. Seems like they would announce if it was not going to be renewed soon as the finale is next week.

I wouldn't have remembered there were two episodes had I not read my twitter. I gotta admit, the wedding surprised me. I do think TPTB are playing with fire playing with the "where is Pam?" angle. I did think I saw Ann wet her pants a little when her name came up though, which was fun. ;)

The first season also aired in the summer and averaged about a million more viewers. I think a summer run is smarter. Running it now wasn't.

I think it will probably be renewed but TNT has also been known to cancel a few struggling shows no matter what season they're in.

Daytime Confidential is saying the show is renewed for a 3rd season:

Despite so-so ratings, “Dallas” 2.0 will be back for a third season and the show has a funeral to thank for its new life, Duffy said.

Ha...I saw that too! I remember Dallas doing ..where is Pam angle...back in 1988 and poof we got nothing until the next season when MM played Pam. The person who is playing supposedly Pam looks to old to be Pam...she looks older than Ann....LOL

This is awesome news! I actually thought Season 2 was better than the first season. Let's hope Dallas Season 3 is this summer in July.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
