The most important thing is not to give him hits. So don't read the article directly on his Web page, if you must read it at all.

Please don't ask others to not click on Nelson's page on TV Guide Canada. If he had nothing worth reading, there wouldn't be a need to post about him. Personally, while Nelson has some out there postings, he is our genre's Perez Hilton, and while that may come across a certain way to others, it kinda is a good thing. Soap stars wouldn't talk to him if they truly were offended by the things he was saying.

I don't agree with this all. There are lots of people who say things aren't worth reading or listening, but we talk about them because they stir controversy. Nelson is one of those people in the soap world. Besides no one has to follow my suggestion that they not click on his page.

I agree with the above. A sugestion like that isn't going to keep people from click on his page and sorry but IMO he has nothing worth reading and if people stop posting his stuff he wouldn't keep getting attention

If you dont wanna read what he has to say, then simply dont. But dont go out of your way to deny him the hits he deserves because you dont like him. It makes no sense. I mean, i get not liking him and whatnot, but if your interested enough to read his writeups and comment, then why doesn't he deserve the hits on his site?

Telling people not to give Nelson hits is no different than warning people away from a bad restaurant or lousy movie. People who like what Nelson has to say are free to promote him and talk about him. That's how word of mouth works. Let the marketplace have at him.

No, its not.

Its like telling people not to pay to eat at that crappy restaurant, despite the fact that they go there twice a week.

Nobody is saying you have to go there, but if you choose too and you know what your getting, then pay up.

So let me get this straight: if I don't go there and think he's bad for the genre I'm not allowed to suggest to other people not to go there because somebody else chose to post his stuff on this board? Interesting. Unfortunately the internet is a part of the marketplace and while I wish people wouldn't post his stuff here, they do and the only way to affect Nelson's behavior is to make it cost him and the only way to do that is to reduce his traffic so I'm afraid I'm on Ann's side in this. People can make up their own minds.

No, what i am saying is if people choose to read his conent, then why doesnt he deserve the hits for it?

If you do not enjoy it, then dont read it. But do not read it and go in roundabout ways to do it, therefor denying him hits he deserves. I dont agree with every finding something posted somewhere so that you dont have to go to the original source to deny them hit. Full articles should never be posted, just parts with a link (as was done here).

Oh, Lord. rolleyes.gif Jack Peyton defending Nelson... rolleyes.gif The world's done. Bam.

LOL, i like his articles. They are entertaining. But, even if i didnt, its not really the point. No matter who it is, if someone is going to read their article they deserve the hits for it. I really cant stand entire articles being published on sites.

Seriously?!

But the only thing entertaining about it is how much of a car crash they are. They are dismal, awful.

And the car crash thing stopped being interesting a while ago so nothing's left.

Notice:

You can dress up Caleb as much as you want, AMC, but he’s no James Mitchell (though I do kind of like Jill Larson’s chemistry opposite Michael Nouri). And murdering David Hayward? Bad move, show-killers! You know the culprit will turn out to be some lame character. All I can say is thank God for Debbi Morgan, who is the sole reason to tune into this mess of a show. And I’m sorry, Ryan and Madison remind me why I’m gay every time they’re onscreen. Hey, Brian Frons — can’t we pretty please re-hire Lorraine Broderick as your show’s head writer so one of my former fave shows can last more than a couple of years? It’s not too late. Let’s not forget that thanks to co-head writer David Kreizman, the recently axed World Turns beat AMC in the ratings this past week! Do the math. And the irony? Everything this man touches turns to poop.

Voilà.

Yes they can, and telling someone not to give him hits, that doesn't mean people can't make up their own minds unless they're robots who go along with everything suggested
