Is it just me or does anyone else not understand? Why would Y&R show a whole week of repeats the week prior to the new talk show?? I'm assuming B&B isn't affected since it's not mentioned in the release.

Is it just me or does anyone else not understand? Why would Y&R show a whole week of repeats the week prior to the new talk show?? I'm assuming B&B isn't affected since it's not mentioned in the release. The way I took it is that Y&R will NOT be airing a week of repeats in their original timeslot, but for a week during ATWT's old timeslot. Basically this press release lists what will be aired in the 2 PM ET time slot between the final episode of ATWT on Sept. 17th and the premiere of 'The Talk' on October 18th.
September 5, 201015 yr Member probably better than the current crap on the air, unless its something that was from this year
September 5, 201015 yr Member This is one confusing press release. Why burn off 10 episodes of The Price Is Right and 5 episodes of Lets Make a Deal in a different timeslot? Sounds silly! Y&R is showing repeats in the 2 Eastern timeslot not in its own timeslot. So The Talk will premiere at 2 Eastern. Good because people here actually thought CBS would move their shows around and put the show in Y&Rs timeslot. Edited September 5, 201015 yr by OLTL_fan

Thank you. Sorry, I thought it meant in Y&R's normal time slot, I was like huh?! Feel free to delete this thread if ya want, LOL. Edited September 5, 201015 yr by clubkidjeff
September 5, 201015 yr Member The #1 Daytime Drama, "The Young and the Restless," Reprises Powerful Episodes That Are Emotionally Relevant To Its Current Story, Oct. 11-15 "Emotionally Relevant" - what does that mean?? Why do I get the feeling they are going to repeat horse sh!t like A Chompers Carol? Edited September 5, 201015 yr by CarlD2
September 5, 201015 yr Member "Emotionally Relevant" - what does that mean?? Why do I get the feeling they are going to repeat horse sh!t like A Chompers Carol? If Y&R is the soap in question regarding the recent blind item, then it could be Clear Springs.
September 5, 201015 yr Member If Y&R is the soap in question regarding the recent blind item, then it could be Clear Springs. So they are going to show us that even LML was better than what the show has become...
September 6, 201015 yr Member This is one confusing press release. People are going to assume those are reruns, by default. Those episodes aren't gonna register sh!t with Nielsen. Unless they are trying to test how well TPIR, Deal and Y&R do in that timeslot in the event that the network wants to shift the show around. But why burn off originals in that timeslot. Makes no sense to me. Edited September 6, 201015 yr by bellcurve
September 6, 201015 yr Member So they are going to show us that even LML was better than what the show has become... Lethal on her worst day is better than these clowns. Someone just bring Megan McTavish back from the dead to write Y&R. At least she's good at misogyny and disgusting, virulent storytelling.
September 6, 201015 yr Member I wonder how old the episodes will be. With the endless recasts (shocking to say that for Y&R!) an old episode will be odd to many newer fans. They'll wonder where all the AMC/GL/ATWT refugees are.
September 6, 201015 yr Member Oh good eye Scotty! Thank you. Sorry, I thought it meant in Y&R's normal time slot, I was like huh?! Feel free to delete this thread if ya want, LOL. Oh, you're welcome. I could see where someone would get confused after reading that press release...I had to read it two or three times myself to make sure I had it straight.
