Of course the difference here is that Allan Rich knew that Rue McClanahan was going to do that. VR wasn't offered the same courtesy by her scene partner, director (shame on him/her if MS ran this by them and they said nothing to VR), let alone the script.

She could simply not like Vicky and want to piss her off. it could be becaase she's black, but it also could be because theyr'e too much alike, being mouthy demanding cows. One should at least entertain the possibility that they hate each other for personality reasons.

So she PERFECTLY got along with every other actress/actor she ever worked with & never thought of such a genius IDEA to "enhance" the million rivalries the character has had over the years.

It's all coincidences.

Right.

They're nothing alike.

Thankfully.

I'm of the logic that actors should be paid right in line with their seniority on a show like the rest of American companies tend to do, but in Hollywood that will never happen. We can't say that Kristoff is getting less than some of those less senior than him because of the color his skin, since if he is getting less than those people, there could be other factors in play. TV and Movies tend to pay you more for your popularity more so than your seniority in the industry. That's not to say Kristoff and his character Neil Winters isn't popular, but a company tends to reward those who bring current success. Past successes are never remembered as we all know, I'm sure. It is all about the here and the now.
