Victoria Rowell, Darius McCrary, and Kristoff St. John on Radio Show

And the desperate trolling begins.

Right on schedule.

I love VR and I applaud her efforts to increase the role for AAs on daytime. I found Darius disgusting -- it really does make me sick that anyone uses the N-word in any manner. If we want to make progress, everyone should wipe that out of their vocabulary. There are other words he could use if you want to be street. He is a poor representative of daytime and AA actors. I did like the fact that the hosts weren't afraid to challenge VR -- it certainly provided for a lively discussion. Let's remember silence is the enemy. We are fortunate to live in a society where we are free to express our opinions.

+1.

I would only tolerate an improv'd spit take from a best bud trusted acting partner (and if it got a huge laugh), you just don't pull that, especially on someone with whom you have an already contentious relationship. Having SAID that, I think it's time that VR starts making it clear that it was a spit take and not a full on hawwwwwk'd from her taint loogie to the face. I feel that VR is taking the stance that there is no difference, and I would beg to differ.

But it WASN'T a "spit take".

It was CALLED a spit take AFTER the fact as an attempt to make it acceptable behavior.

In other words, they would return her clothes to the store and the other ladies' items would remain in wardrobe where they'd perhaps be recycled or borrowed out/sold.

Not as bad as I thought. Thank you.

On the topic at hand, I get Victoria Rowell's fight, but she is going about it the wrong way. In fact, I saw something on her Twitter and I asked a question and the girl went bat [!@#$%^&*] crazy on me and sent her cronies on me.

I agree compeltely with that assessment. One thing, is I LOVE how this crazy bitch gives me hours and hours of kee-cackles and guffaws.... Brenda's Nazi salute is still the gold standard... but girlfriend is gaining on her FAST!

I saw the scene when DC posted it, it was a lame attempt at a comedic Danny Thomas spit-take, Dru says something shocking, Phyllis spews. Not on VR's face, but on her clothes. You run that [!@#$%^&*] by your scene partner first.

What do you mean? Don't we have this on video? Please elbaorate.

It wasn't though.

It was pre meditated.

Well, this "Oreo" would like to point out that that particular pejorative doesn't refer to us beige beauties as much as it does to a "full" black person accused of "acting" white. Bryant Gumble, Colin Powell, Condoleeza, those are the types of folks who tend to get the "Oreo" label, but particularly bougie proper-English speaking blacks in the '60s/'70s and on.

(pouting) Dammit! I wanted to be the one to school him! angry.gif

I didn't know that was the officiel excuse until now, but I had read about sonething about a spitting incident - without a name attached.

I guessed right.

Oh, I have no doubt that MS had this idea planned out before tape rolled and purposely chose not to share it with her scene partner nor her director. I'm not implying that it was improv'd in the moment of the actual scene, just saying that it was an unscripted choice MS made.

Which makes a it a pre-meditated spit-take. But I do agree that Stafford was totally in the wrong to not run this by her scene partner. I would have busted her ass over that if I were in charge.
