OLTL: Actor leaving

Plus BB has been replaced with other white males. OLTL is getting less diverse and more white by the minute. It might be as white as GH by the end of the year.

:: stunned ::

The show may ditch Brandon Buddy, who isn't playing a character that is black, or gay, or a middle-aged female?

You mean they may chuck a young, straight white guy?

That doesn't match the usual conspiracists theories about the firing practices of ABCD. Hmmm...

Spoken like the perfect member of OLTL's target audience.

False.

And fewer and fewer of them are watching OLTL.

Can't say I will miss Cole, but he at least had some amusing quirks and a personality. Aside from a severe jaw and mouth problem that makes him look like Gabby Hayes Jr. there is nothing interesting about James. And Twinkle is the most #*$(&#$# annoying nickname ever.

I know most aren't contract- but have you watched this week? Greg, Shaun, Destiny, Darren, Price, Vivian, that random judge... they are definitely trying to diversify, even if it doesn't seem like they are committed to any of those characters. I just find it ironic that you mention that... after the discussions we had this week about using the "random black characters" more.

Bring back RJ and have him find Tea! And discover that Greg was only going along with Eli's schemes because Rachel was being held captive by Eli... and RJ can race to rescue his niece before its too late! RJ can take care of Eli...

No they aren't.

A. Most aren't contract.

B. They only exist as servants to White characters.

even if it doesn't seem like they are committed to any of those characters.

It's 2010.

Having token Minority Characters on the canvas doesn't count as "diversity"

Bring back RJ

For what?

So he can sit on the Blackburner?

Oh well, he would be without a job in a year anyway..when this [!@#$%^&*] show gets canceled

LOL! Damn girl! I'm definitely putting you on the invite list for the cancellation party!

As for BB this is smart of him. Actors who want to move on need to do their contract then walk. Anything more than 4-6 years on a soap, depending on side projects, and the rest of their career is toast.

No sadder than the numerous "Save (insert soap here) rallies" we've seen over the last few years. Who among us can forget the GL rally that only one person attended? Frankly I consider it sad that you fawn over a show that features a seven-year old teenager and Jessica Leccia playing the mother to a 25-year-old man.

At least the cancellation party will have food, drink and be within walking distance of Broadway theatres. That's assuming, of course, that ABC gives the same amount of notice that CBS gave when it canceled GL and ATWT. We'll certainly need a few months to lock in the venue and catering, get the invitations out and reserve a block of hotel rooms.

But until then, just enjoy your show.
