I'm just going to copy & paste the above post every weekday & put it in this thread. Today's episode has been a waste for over a year now!

Adam didn't really even have a chip until NICK was an ass to him.

The whole thing with Victoria was just ridiculous though.

If only they had gone with the natural family drama that would have come from Hope's son showing up with a business degree from Harvard and claiming his place at the table (with Hope at his side), instead of all the psycho garbage they decided to feed us. It could have played out for years, especially with Sharon in the mix and the Hope/Nikki fighting that would have ensued . I'm never going to get over the way they completely wasted the Victor Jr. character. It's not as bad as what they did to Phillip or what they are doing with Chance and Nina's stolen baby (which never should have been resolved, imo), but it's pretty damn pitiful.

Like Phillip back from the dead Hope/Adam returning would & should have DECADES of story but as usual Maria blew it.

Now Hope is dead, Adam is being "redeemed" at the expense of everyone else on the canvas & Maria's moved onto her next victim

the point of no return came when he killed Ashley's baby and proceeded to let her think she was still pregnant. I thought he was still viable as a character up until that moment. MAB could have saved him instead of digging the hole even deeper

yeah the stuff with Jack/Victor and the diary was bad but far from irredeemable. I liked Adam and wanted him out of jail. In hindisght, I wish she had left him there to rot. At least then there was a chance that the next head writer could do him justice

The only death she was criticized for was Colleen (rightfully so) and even read some criticisms about killing John. Unfortunately Maria got a free pass on killing Brad because this was during the time when she "brought Y&R back to the Bill Bell days" and LML did that man no favors.

She'll successfully kill off Chance because "he's boring". The soap press and blogs criticize the hell out of John Driscoll all the while praising Eden Reigel or saying the writing is at fault for her miscasting.

I was trying to say that the fans would be accused of being unreasonable by the soap press not that they would actually be.

Wasn't Branco trying to say this role was some of the best work Eden's ever had?

I think this will be one of those CLAP LOUDER! things, the same that you get a lot with Billy/Victoria, although they have more fans than this Heather does.

Those pre-MAB flashbacks were great, most watchable 30 seconds of the show in months.
