Because she was all about pleasing her man. Neil made it very clear what type of club he wanted, "Cool, laid back, jazzy, sophisticated" so he let his wife decorate it accordingly, it's not as if he just said "Here baby... do whatever you want". Drucilla used to have a much more fun, gregarious sense of style until stuffed shirt Neil sucked the life out of her. I still remember the Newman's New Year's eve party when Dru wore a dress just like the one Chloe was wearing today, except in Chartreuse... Neil went and made her CHANGE, gave her some black velvet granny dress and a strand of pearls. Then proceeded to stumble all over his embarrassment when Dru told Victor she didn't picture him having a moustache.

you got it, baby!! Dru at that time was such a breath of fresh air in daytime, but Neil was always acting like she was some unruly child that he had to keep reigned in. And although Neil made Dru change her dress, Epperson's Ashley waltzed into that party in almsot the same thing, except the dress was 3 inches longer and in silver. Nobody can tell me the Dru in that scene would have decorated Indigo the way it was decorated and it was "her taste".. bull. She's far too lively.

I guess you can't say they are ruining Skye, because she wasn't much of a character in the first place, but having her go nuts to try to make people care more about "Shadam" is laughable. Yet again they have no idea what to do with Sharon beyond these tired stories about men saving her.

I really like her too but the psycho thing was gonna happen the minute she was brought back from the dead.

Y&R LOVES Sharon, Adam, Nick, Nick/Sharon, Adam/Sharon, Nick Vs. Adam & Nick/Sharon/Adam & what better way to prop them all than to turn Skye psycho?
