Dru at that time was such a breath of fresh air in daytime, but Neil was always acting like she was some unruly child that he had to keep reigned in. And although Neil made Dru change her dress, Epperson's Ashley waltzed into that party in almsot the same thing, except the dress was 3 inches longer and in silver. Nobody can tell me the Dru in that scene would have decorated Indigo the way it was decorated and it was "her taste".. bull. She's far too lively.
