I go anonymous because I don't like the way my username looks on the user list. It's a stupid reason, but it's mine.

You may have done it accidentally but there are MANY that do it purposefully.

And frankly, you can fix that. Just log out, and when you go to log back in (you have to do it the long way, not in the automatic window prompts), just uncheck the sign in anonymously box.

No need to get your panties in a wad- I clearly wasn't speaking to accidental anonymity

So what if people do it purposefully? Why is this any business or concern of yours? Who made you board police?

The only person who has their panties in a wad is you, cause you're making such a big deal out of something so stupid.

Of course there's the sad truth that some posters have grudge/boundary issues. That's the reason I surf anonymously on any board that offers the option. I know what it's like to have some psycho clicking on your name over and over to see what thread you're posting in just so they can keep screaming at you.

Nah...if I want to scream at someone I don't llook at "last posted." I just look at the thread where I went off on them, see if they replied and continue to go bananas.

Dude, just making a point. Not the board police. Not getting my panties in a wad. Just wondering because I think it's an arrogant thing to do. Get over yourself- you choose to be so sanctimonious over the most menial sh!t, all in the hopes of getting a "+1" from someone who probably hasn't read the other 99% of your posts.

+1.

Anonymous posting is arrogant? Really? Let's examine that...

S: (adj) arrogant, chesty, self-important (having or showing feelings of unwarranted importance out of overbearing pride)

Now let's look at this whole thread and examine where the above characteristics are being displayed.

Awww was that supposed to hurt me? You have some serious OCD issues if anonymous posters ticks you off that bad. Why don't YOU get over yourself.

Oh marceline, marceline, marceline. I'm just posing a question and giving an opinion.

And yes, signing in anonymously is self-important IMO- as in, too important to show that, yes, you're signed in to SON.

By the way, that was some examination. [/arrogant sarcasm]

Oh good Lord, it wasn't supposed to hurt you, I'd roll my eyes at anyone who +1ed that load of sh!t, self-indulgent post. Didn't you see how the eyeroll went along with the 1st part of my post, which had nothing to do with you?

OCD

Go fantasize about Chad & Will getting it on, k? ;)

I've been so tempted to create five sock puppet accounts and sign them all in anonymously and just let them sit in this thread 24/7.
