Members Dr Neil Curtis
A while back I did a topic on unsung actors/actresses, but there are many unsung characters who have more story behind them but just off the map and the way soaps are getting Cancelled they may never return recast or original actor. Ex. Trish Lewis on GL: there was more to her. A past with Alan and Ross. She could have return and gave Lillian a rival for Buzz Affection or even a cougar relationship with rick. Neil Curtis on Days: not because he is my favorite but because he could have returned many moons ago. A bonding relationship with Sarah against Maggie's wishes. A rival for Lexie at the Hospital. Members juniorz1
I've long thought DAYS should bring back Neil, pair him with Maggie, and then have Gloria Loring return as Liz Chandler. I once thought it would never happen, but ever since Anna was brought back to the canvas, I've had renewed hope. Liz was an AMAZING character & could fit right in to the current landscape. Plus, they could bring back their daughter Noelle & plug her into the younger set.
Members DRW50
I was and still am annoyed at how little they did with Trish Lewis. She was the first Lewis and yet she was the first to be written out. I always wonder if Pam Long and Gail Kobe resented her for that on some level, or thought she was too "normal" compared to the hooting and hollering of the other Lewis women. I would also include Mike and Hope Bauer. For ATWT, I would say Frannie Hughes, Andy Dixon, and Amy and Lien Hughes, and Bonnie Griffin. For Ryan's Hope, Kathleen Ryan. For OLTL, Joey Buchanan, Dan Wolek, Delilah Ralston, Becky Lee Abbott, Pamela Buchanan, Andrew Carpenter, Cassie Callison...

Members Dr Neil Curtis
I read about each of these characters in their shows history books and each are great in their on way. Rick Ryan could have brought so much story for Bob and Kim and his siblings in the later years. Rick could have shared a great past any of the new women atwt brought on the canvas. Sandy Horton shared a great friendship with Tony and was a nurse.....oh yeah and she is a Horton! With a great recast that character would have been great in Marlena, Kate, John, Roman and Victor's Orbit. Steve Olson was the original bad horton before Jeremy Horton, I could see Justin Deas in the role and trying to takeover Titan or DiMera Industries. Steve would be great a story with Victor/Kate/Stefano. Scott is the son of Lisa Grimaldi that's enough said. Resentment toward Lisa and Tom, tryst with Lucinda, Sierra, and Barbara, stern advice from Emma. What more do we need for this character. The Three AMC characters are a part the families, They should have return more frequently........Especially Amy Tyler!
Members Cheap21
I wouldnt say Cassie. She was on the show for nearly 20 years and they did ALOT with her. I would love to see her back but she's not one character which I feel left before her time and wih alot of untapped story potential. She had a good long run. Members DRW50
I think she still had untapped story potential. She is Dorian's daughter and for better or worse is the only one who genuinely understood Dorian. She was shoved offcamera in a humiliating manner in the middle of a storyline, and her son, on a show with sense, also should have been a major player in storylines, instead of some pointless relationship with pointless Adriana. Members Eric83
Hold up what? I am not a long time viewer of OLTL, but how was Cassie's son dating Adrianna? That was her nephew....unless I am unaware of some techinicality or adoption.
Members DRW50
It's strange how Trudy was just forgotten. I don't even think the Dobsons, who wrote quite a bit for the Bauer family, ever mentioned her. When River was on the show briefly in 2004 or 2005, he dated Adriana before she moved on to Duke. Members Eric83
Yeah, but Cassie and Adrianna are sisters, so therefore wouldn't River have been Adrianna's nephew?
Members DRW50
Not biologically. River's biological parents were Beth Garvey and some guy I don't know.
Members Bright Eyes
Days - Eric Brady (I never understood why they never did ANYTHING with him when they had Jensen Ackles in the role.) Justin and Adrienne's 4 children as well. Like other people have said, the unwanted Horton brigade are high on the list. AMC - There were a few unwanted Martin's too, right? OLTL - Joshua Hall
Members Cheap21
It was still weird and nasty and Im glad OLTL dropped that semi-incestuous story. It seemed like a trend among daytime around that time to toy with the idea of relatives falling for each other. Before them they had Flash/Sarah kiss and have a crush on her uncle/cousin Joey.
