+1 As fun as it sounds, its a character-killer. Not that there's much left...

Yes, we could figure that out. The question is, however, (and correct me Cheap if I'm wrong) why would Carly do this? Revenge just doesn't satisfy as reason and motivation for such an out-of-character move.

How is it out of character for Carly? Carly 1.0 maybe but not Carly 2.0. She iced Lawrence with a dagger to the gut, didn't blink once, and hasn't felt a shred of remorse about it, nor should she IMO. She has just as much reason to go after Vivian if not more. Vivian's a psychotic nutcase who is still hell bent on destruction. Carly might not be a cold-blooded killer under ordinary circumstances but everyone has a breaking point and I don't see why Carly would be above putting an ironic twist on a little well-earned vengeance. Also, the spoiler says that Carly gets revenge when Vivian is buried alive, it doesn't actually say that she does the burying. It could be psycho-Chloe who puts her in the ground and Carly just enjoys it.

Well maybe Logan meant Carly does something to get revenge on Vivian, and Viv retaliates by faking her death, burying herself alive, and framing Carly.

Of course Viv's assistant Gus would be in on this to help her plant clues she is alive or plant evidence against Carly.

I am also wondering if Carly gets sent to jail and thats where Stacy Haiduk's character comes in.

Carly killed Lawrence because he was abusing her. She came to Salem to get help from Bo, Vivian followed her there determined to make her pay. She trapped her in an elevator to freak her out. When she found out Carly cheated on Lawrence and had another man's baby she set out to find the daughter. She discovered it was Melanie, and tried to kill her on her wedding day to Philip. Carly found out about the plan and went to confront Vivian who was with Melanie with a gun. Carly accidentally shot Melanie.

Then Carly found out Chloe slept with another man behind Daniel's back. Vivian convinced Chloe to help her off Carly to keep her mouth shut. The plan didnt work out, but in the SOD it says Carly learns about some of what happened including that Vivian hired a nurse to tell Chloe that Carly and Daniel went to have sex at a hotel.

This may be what leads to this, Carly being fed up and deciding to take action.

Let me know if you didnt get anything.

    • "You didnt tell me. I was your wife!" Girl, shut up! What is the point of this conversation? You think h was suposed to tell you that your sister's husband was cheating when he was lying to you about his own dirt?
    • I watched yesterday's episode on Paramount+ so today's episode was a repeat for me.

    • Looks like they never removed it as it is still there as of this reply.
    • In a way, it's a shame that Lynne Adams decided to leave the show when she did, because I think Mike and Leslie were positioned very well to become GL's tentpole couple.
    • Correct. Lynne Adams (Leslie) decided she wanted to leave the show, as Leslie hadn't been given much to do since Adams returned as Leslie in 1973 (and now everyone can witness her first scene returning as Leslie in 1973 on YT - unreal) I don't think the Dobsons tried to stop that from happening, as I think they wanted Mike single again. I agree, @DeeVee - they should have let Mike and Leslie have a child together. I wonder it they thought it would be too strange to have two siblings that could also be cousins

. As far as Ed and Holly go, at least they allowed Ed to show up at the end of TGL and take Holly on a "trip around the world". IMHO, I don't think Peter Simon had as much chemistry with Maureen Garrett as Mart Hulswit had, but I'm glad the show gave them a final scene together.
    • IF this gets a renewal I can't see LY sticking around
    • Well, I'm glad to know Devane and I are on the same wavelength, lol.  But seriously.  I don't believe there's any other word to describe the machinations that the producers constructed in the name of keeping Greg and Paige apart.  Greg and Paige made Sam and Diane look mature by comparison! Which would have been just as well, since a character like Greg Sumner didn't really belong in the '90's, as the storyline with the task force proved only too well.  If KL had returned for another season, it would've needed a MASSIVE overhaul, including ditching Greg, Paige, Claudia and Anne.  Mack and Karen would've needed to be there for the sake of continuity; and maybe some mileage could've been gained from exploring Gary's new life as a widowed single father.  (I still would've loved to bring back Julie Harris and have Lilimae help Gary take care of the twins).  Otherwise, it would've been a new era for KL, one without The Sumner Group, or stories like Wolfbridge and Empire Valley.
