July 2, 201015 yr Member Riegel's Heather walks around as if she is too sexy for her own good and knows it. The level of arrogance and smugness that this character has attained since the change is astounding. She literally thinks her sh-t dont stink and Im ready for someone to slap her back into reality Cheap, if you are still watching Y&R, wait til you catch Friday's US episode. Feather dons a nightie and trying to do her best "Vail Bloom at an FHM photoshoot" impression. Edited July 2, 201015 yr by Cat
July 2, 201015 yr Member Cheap, if you are still watching Y&R, wait til you catch Friday's US episode. Feather dons a nightie and trying to do her best "Vail Bloom at an FHM photoshoot" impression. Ugh! Not looking forward to that. That description kinda reminds me of Marissa on AMC a few days ago trying to act sexy. Epic fail Edited July 2, 201015 yr by Cheap21

July 2, 201015 yr Member CBS Soaps in Depth is saying that they didn't report her being out. They are hearing Lauren's mother will be back later in the summer. I think she was purposely written as a morose plain jane in order to better showcase the "sparkle" that are Miller, Hendricksen and (LOL) Khalil. Mac's role was to make them look better. She is the bridesmaid, not the bride in the minds of the Y&R IIC. Khalil couldn't sparkle is she was holding sparklers on 4th of July. And ITA 100% on Reigel. Horribly miscast. Annoying voice. Not that great of an actress. Certain soap commentators rejoiced when Vail got fired, saying she couldn't act, but I personally loved her whiskey-soaked voice, pin-up looks, ambition and devotion to her work. I bought that Vail was this insecure young thing who was thrown into the ADA position and was desperate to prove herself, even though she was out of her depth and probably too sexy for her own good. I can't imagine them doing this love triangle with Vail in the role now. Chloe is suppose to be the vixen and that would be a hard sell with Vail in the role. Edited July 2, 201015 yr by lovely_m
July 2, 201015 yr Member Agreed about Clementine. She had a spark in her, and in scenes with JT or in scenes which showed off Mac's happier, practical side, CF shone. YES to all of this. Vail wasnt an oscar worthy actress by any means, however she was perfect in her role. She had lots of moment where she really shines, despite awful writing. They actually made a mistake taking her out of the Jabot world too early, because she really fit in there and was finding her footing. But once she got her footing she did very well. Her and DD also felt like father/daughter.
July 2, 201015 yr Member I didn't think Chloe was believable as a vixen even against CKLily. Vail would've eaten her alive.

Her and DD also felt like father/daughter. I thought her biggest problem was not giving her any friends or even aquantices. With the exception of Adam and Paul, nearly everyone she interacted with was on a professional level. They had her be ADA 24/7 and never gave her anything deeper. She felt so segregated from everyone else instead of being properly integrated. As soon as she leaves the role, now they have Heather interacting with more people and getting involved with stuff outside the courtroom. They couldnt do this with Vail in the role?
July 2, 201015 yr Member They couldnt do this with Vail in the role? They could. They just had no use for the character beyond furthering their agendas until they cast a name actress to be one of their agendas. Edited July 2, 201015 yr by DeeeDee
July 3, 201015 yr Member I didn't think Chloe was believable as a vixen even against CKLily. nobody is a believable vixen against CKLily. When they said that Amber was coming on. I was happy because she does her best against other strong characters. Under CK Lily isn't strong. She just there for us to feel pity for. & Want something horrible to happen to the people who mad her hurt. Me personally, I love it when CKLily in pain. & I cheer on the person that is causing her the pain.
July 3, 201015 yr Author Member The more i was thinking about it...I realized I could probably see Tamara Braun playing Mac very well. (Sorry, bellcurve )

July 3, 201015 yr Member The more i was thinking about it...I realized I could probably see Tamara Braun playing Mac very well. (Sorry, bellcurve ) I don't know what to think about TB playing Mac.
July 3, 201015 yr Member I don't know what to think about TB playing Mac. A lot of arm-flapping and finger-pointing, and Mac would be shoved back at Billy, since the show would want to try yet again to hook ABC viewers and also want to find a pairing for Billy which would not flop. Mac's actual personality, what she has left, would be irrelevant, although I can see the show deciding it's time for Mac to become some kind of promiscuous boozer or something.
July 3, 201015 yr Member A lot of arm-flapping and finger-pointing Elbow jutting, neck waving & lip snarling too. Tamara Braun moves like a chicken with jock itch.
