I am surprised there never was a temp Jordan Ashford on GH, since Briana Nicole Henry had COVID a week after Thanksgiving.  It must have been covered during a holiday vacation.

Due to Briana Nicole Henry catching Covid at Thanksgiving GH had to temp recast Jordan. Actress Tiffany Daniels began her stint as Jordan on Jan 26, 2021 and will remain for a few episodes according to Henry who also shares she is pals withDaniels and that Henry has already began filming at GH again.

I bet we will continue to see more temps on soaps

 

Also Real Andrews will resume the role of Taggert on GH in February 2021

Has there been a temp actor/actress that you liked in a role & wondered why why the soap didnt cast them when they recast a role years later

I preferred watching Hayley Sparks to Beth Ehlers in her temp stints (if you had told me in 1992 I would prefer watching Hayley to Beth, I would have laughed in your face). I think there was some spec about whether she might take over if Beth's high-wire contract negotiations around 2000 or 2001 had broken down.

Oh. this is bad. She does read older, and like she is just moving through the script. Granted, she is a temporary fill-in, but dang....

Cady McClain (Jennifer, DAYS). Don't understand why, given her positive reception, why she hasn't been brought back. Not necessarily years later, but still....

Also, Lane Davies as Ridge Forrester (in placement of Throsten Kaye) and Nick Stabile as Nikolas Cassadine.
