One soap is on the verge of announcing the comebacks of a wildly popular on-screen couple - but one of its members will only be making a short-term return.

I hope they are talking about Jen & Jack

I bet it's about Zach and Kendall on AMC. Thorsten Kaye coming back short term, the show will break Zendall up on-screen instead of it happening off-screen.

I think it's Zach and Kendall as well. AM said she would probably be back at work in late June, so the timing of this pending announcement fits.

Hasn't it been known though that Minshew is returning to AMC as Kendall once her maternity leave is over? Her return is not really a surprise. It could be them but I also think it could be Jack and Jennifer on Days with Jack being the short term return. There's been spec that when Missy Reeves returned for the Alice tribute it would only be a matter of time before she returned to the show full time.

We already knew Kendall was coming back though.

I hope it's Jack and Jennifer at DAYS, and of course Jennifer will be the one sticking around.

I say Zendall. The fact that I hate them doesn't mean I'm incapable of seeing that they were popular although "wildly" seems to be pushing it. I can think of other soap couples who aren't nearly as popular as Zendall but that doesn't stop ABC from pimping them, ***coughJoliecoughJamanda***

I agree that Zach and Kendall fit this blind item. This justifies my AMC boycott, excluding Liza and Damon of course.

Corday: There will be three of what I like to call extended romance novels, about couples that aren't on the show now. For instance, Patch and Kayla, John and Marlena and Jack and Jennifer. Some of that may change [Corday hints] if one or two of those characters returns.
