Seriously, they should've scrapped the role altogether.

August 92 Update mentions Santa Barbara trying to get Robert Newman to do a limited run, for a story with Kim Zimmer.

They also say Charles Grant and Daniel Markel tested for the role of Connor.

Michael E Knight was also considered for the role, but Update said if he did join the show, they were going to create a role especially for him.
