Although Joke really pushes it, I have to say that no one on this show *truly* gets on my nerves which is something I can't say for the show I watch at 2. That's a plus for me and makes spending my hour watching an overall sleepy episode for such a *big event* not seem like an entire wash. I guess.

Today was the opposite of yesterday -- I missed the second half. But anyway, as annoying as hell the bride group was with their David hate, I did enjoy seeing the colors and hairdos and robes and such. Made it feel like a real soap wedding.

WTF was Jake doing? Tad and Flipp Washroom are dressed and ready for the wedding, but Jake's dumb ass is running around with a camera and trying to think of lame "cute" things to do? Epitome of annoying, especially with the newspaper. 3(tsk).

Just with MEK in past years, a bad example of writing the actor's *personal charms* into the character. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to make the Martin brothers all schticky, a little goes a VERY long way.

I just think IMO that RPG is a shitty actor! I didn't like him on AW, GL or AMC. Makes me wonder how he gets hired.

People in the industry must find him charming as he's booked hosting work in the past as well. I guess there's no accounting for taste. I believe in an actor making a role his or her own but I don't like the little RPG stamps like the smirkiness, street fair jewelry and hair. And this isn't unique to his character by any means, but I do find it almost impossible to reconcile the fact that he's the Joey I remember as a kid.

His acting gets on my nerves. His Emmy appearances on the red carpert...ugh.....The SoapNet ones where he hosted...gawd..the guy is so damn annoying.

RPG was hired for this show because he was popular on GL and Frons seemed to want some big GL reunion for RPG and MacBeth. I thought RPG was more tolerable as Gus, perhaps because he was playing a new character, whereas, aside from the last year or so of J. Eddie Peck, I have loathed Jake ever since he fell out of that damn tree. He is the epitome of the smarmy and controlling punk who always gets women he doesn't deserve. I'm surprised he isn't going over to Llanview...

I have the same basic reaction to Jack & Greenlee. It's a shame that their relationship was glossed over as a story point by McT when it was first revealed and never explored.

I'm still being a Pollyanna and holding out hope for Ryan & Madison. Their friendship so far is exactly what Frons and company wanted Ryan & Greenlee to be but never were (due in large part to the fact that she used to stalk him, but Mct/Frons chose to ignore that and write them as friends). Also, there is a growing chemistry between Ryan & Madison that he never had with Greenlee, which makes me root for them.

I agree, today was entertaining for the entire hour. I loved all the small interactions like Tad winking at Liza during the ceremony or Greenlee trying not to look at Ryan.

Now, I'm no hair/makeup/wardrobe specialist, but whoever put Greenlee in that awful dress with such weird hair must have an issue with Rebecca Budig!

I have the same problem. I liked the first two adult Jakes, especially J. Eddie Peck, and I could buy them as little Joey all grown up, but RPG feels like a completely different character.

I like Liza and have defneded her, but cant on this. She is all on her own. How many times can Tad degrade her, dump her and break her heart? He's been doing it for nearly 30 years yet she keeps running back to him. He will most likely do it again and she will deserve it bc at her age, she should know better. I wish she had mroe self respect and dignity to realize she deserves someone better who can and will commit to her. Tad doesnt love her and will never love her. She's good for some hot sex and thats it bc at the end of the day, he doesnt want her. For some reason, she never seems to get that. Im sure it wont be long till she starts getting jealous of Krystall and the fact that they have kids. Sigh, didnt we already go through this?
