Members Y&RWorldTurner Posted April 24, 2010 Members Share Posted April 24, 2010 LaChappelle was originally supposed to direct Madonna's Hung Up video, but they disagreed so much on the concept and fought all the time that she fired him while they were deep into the pre-production stage, that's why there's bad blood there. I remember when he was originally named as the director of that video and shocked to find out she had suddenly replaced him, that rarely happens with her and video directors. But he's a pretty shitty photographer turned music video director though, he's no Herb Ritts. I've never really liked a lot of his work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
